ABC News: Think Online Poker Is Safe? Don't Bet On It
Please read this blog
and I attached a message i had with them on
OCT 7 which was before i ever heard of this....

I KNEW THEY WERE CHEATING
About a week or so ago I was in a freeroll on the site
I was up to number 32 I had 42000 in chips
that guy potripper was there and I got rivered
8 times. I got so mad i sent them an email asking
if they were rigged or fixed.

here is the post of the letter I sent them and their response..........

Thankyou for your response
I have a question
Is this game rigged? I mean come on I was riverd 8 times today
By people who held cards that NO WAY should they have bet with them
I am serious I cant play if I am being cheated and I have already
Read numerous reports of this site being used as a scam and that
There is a master account that you guys have that u play with
I can even send a link to u so that u can see it for yourself
I am very upset
8 times I had the best possible hand and people hit 1 outters 8 times against me
and EVERY time was when I was all in

"Come, you spirits That tend on mortal thoughts! unsex me here, and fill me from the crown to the toe top full of direst cruelty; make thick my blood "

Dear Mr. Heck,

Thank you for contacting us.

We checked your account and we are glad to inform you that we have attached to this email a summary for all your real money transactions since your account opening.

Please notice that since you downloaded the poker software, the hand histories have been saved automatically in your hard disk drive. In order to retrieve them simply follow these steps:

1) Go to the "Player's Lobby".

2) Click on "My Account" pull down menu in the top left hand corner of the window.

3) Click on "Hand History". Once there, two options will appear.

4) Click on "Open My Hand History Files".

5) This will open a new window. Click on the "Open" menu on the top left hand corner of this new window.

6) This will show another window, and in it, you should see a file with your nickname.

7) If you double click on this folder, it will open several files (which are in Windows Notepad format).

8) Choose the table or tourney that you want to see the hand history for; they will be sorted out by date/table/tourney number, etc.

You should find all the games and tourneys played there.

Because of the importance of this feature to our players, we have made it easy to review your hand history. Simply follow the instructions below:

In the Main Lobby under the "My Account" tab, click on "Hand History". Complete the appropriate information and it will be emailed to your log in ID.

We also want to motivate you to continue with your effort and we hope that you reach your goal.

Thanks for playing at Absolute Poker! If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We are here for you!

Sincerely,

Aaron

So, Potripper, besides being able to see hole cards in HIGH stakes games, also is able to set the river card in freerolls. Will the scandle never end? That Potripper, or somebody at least, must be a pathological liar.

Nice that you want to help others not get scammed.

Don't worry about them liking you, it would be nice, but you can still learn even if they don't like you. I have significantly increased my knowledge just by hanging around.

Heck, Pigpen won't even play with me ;)

stick around.

3rd grade reading comprehension would have been helpful when making up your story, but hey.

I just love how they keep asking sites "Hey, are you rigged by chance?"

There is a huge difference between a poker site being "rigged" and a poker site being "hacked". I believe that AP was hacked.

How much have you followed the story, Kaedyn?

The reason I ask; the tourney that brought this forward Potripper was playing a 1,000 buy in, I think. Why would he be playing a freeroll?

Also, the hands in the tourney in question had nothing to do with being rivered. What happened in the tourney was that it appeared potripper knew the other player's hole cards, he didn't know what the river card was. The story is based around a superuser account, one that could see the other players cards. This is entirely different than knowing or manipulating the river card.

Edit: Anyway, see Nick's thread on Absolute https://www.cardschat.com/forum/sug...cardschat-com-statement-absolute-poker-96156/

Oh Jesus.

Your post is quite clearly nonsense for more reasons than I care to mention. Here's a few!

- The RNG is secure. The hand histories prove that Potripper et al can only see other people's hole cards, not that they can see or influence board cards yet to come.

- I'm pretty sure Potripper's account was frozen by "about a week" before October 7.

- Him playing a freeroll after just 'winning' a crapton of money (and assuming he can see board cards) makes zero sense.

- There's a difference between getting rivered 8 times and the wealth of evidence in the other thread. If you're going to make allegations, at lest provide hand histories.

These sort of threads do more harm than good to the overall case against Absolute, so I'm locking this. OP, if you really honestly truly played against Potripper in a freeroll, PM me with the tourney details and any hand histories you have available.
