Bovada and ignition recently left the New York Market, I am going on vacation to Florida this week, will I be able to access my account since I won't phsyically be in New York, and can I play for the week then cash out before I go back to NY ? Does anyone have any idea? I just got to FL tonight, I tried signing in to Ignition but I am getting a message saying my account is locked and live support chat couldnt help.

I have no idea.

However, I have a valid Canadian pokerstars account that I could never play from (for real money) while in the US. It's been years since I tried, and you are not dealing with Stars, but I assume the account which is now not viable is blocked from that path by the site.

You can not compare stars, which is regulated, with ignition and bovada who are unregulated and offer poker in many US-States.

If you try to play real money with your .com stars account while in the US you can get a lifetimeban and money confiscated. That would obv only work if you are using a VPN and i would not risk it.

Yes, I understand. I was comparing trying to play in a different location on a valid account on a regulated site with a cancelled account on an unregulated site. The only real comparison is a "one strike vs three strikes" scenario.

If your withdraw address is listed in NY, No don't every try it, you funds could be locked since they pulled out of NY, since NY could hit both of them for you playing on their sites, and you could also get nailed by the NY AG.
