How does the micromillions on PS work?

I've recently played phase 1 in the micromillions and won a spot in phase 2. My question is how many phases are there in the series?

For each phase you play in the tournament lobby, you will be given the id of the next tournament if you carefully check if you play one or two phases to reach the desired tournament

As I remember it from last year, there is only one phase tournament in the series, and it has two phases. If you already reached phase two, then you are in the money, but phase two will determine the size of your score.
