Hey guys what do you think of Pokerstars?

I really love pokerstars. As long as you play smart and you dont go on tilt you can turn a profit nearly daily. Also very nice graphics and i love having the images its really nice feature. The tournaments are really good it is alot like the wsop theres alot of AK vs JJ etc. pretty cool.

The players are pretty good at higher limits but there are plenty of new inexperienced players at the lower limits that can provide some action. Dont worry about bad beats if u bet smart and try to feel if he has a flush or straight w/e you will be fine. Also i noticed if you go all in with the nuts many times u will get a caller.(Many sheriffs on pokerstars cant lay down their AA with like 4 suited cards and 4 cards to a straight on the board >_<)

Pokerstars is arguably the best place to ply online. I like Party a little better because there is more money in the cash games. Pokerstars stands alone when it comes to tournaments though!

For just the simple fact that i think it is the easiest site to navigate and very easy to play I pick it as the best. You can have a long name, it took me a 1/2 hour to try and find one a pacific poker because they only allow them to be 8 characters long.

I love all the games and tournaments at the site. Your money is good and you will recieve a check if you cash out. I feel the play there is pretty solid even at the lower levels. If you truely want to improve your game against good competition any time of day this would be a good site.

The free stuff is even hard to crack in sit n goes once the maniac bombers get out of the way in the first 5 minutes. You can get some valuable experience there before moving to the cash games and you already are familiar with the site. That is how i did it.

I been wondering for a while why this site has a thing with pokerstars???? EVERY time ive seen this discussion about them one or 2 or more of the regular posters have a few choice words about the site in question.

Personally I enjoy pokerstars, it seem to mirror the hands that you regurally see in a live game, quads and straight flushes are a rare entity, and as the above poster stated hands like jj vs AK seem regular enough.

S&G is a pleasure to play there even at the lower limit the player seem to know what a semi bluff is, or when you are trying to get players to fold when you flopped 2 pair and the drawing hand is obvious. Players on party dont seem to care?? (maybe its just me)

Having said all of that, I still havnt had a reason to call support or had a problem, so until I have to do that, total judgement is reserved .........

Any chance of a pokerstars freeroll nick ???

There were two PS freerolls a while ago, I don't know of any in the future, I don't need the money anyways...

poker stars is the only place I play at. The tournament selecton CANNOT be beaten ANYWHERE.

They have heads-up, 1-table and multi-table sit-n-gos, and large MTT as well.

Also, their cash game play is very good...

Its the only program for poker I have on my computer and I have tried other sites like Pacific Poker, party poker, and Ultimate Bet and I am just not satisfied with those products.

PokerStars is the way to go.

Big player base, no bonus. Cash games at NL are full of tards, I was pretty successful there. The tourneys are fun with alot of people, but partys Multis are a shade better in my opinion. Whatch out for colusion even in the lower limit sngs. Quit playin them on there for that reason. Ran into it on several tables. I still play the tourneys once in awhile, and the cash. Not a bad choice, and the payout was like lightning to netteller.

how did you know someone was using collusion software?

i've never witnessed it being used...then again i don't play serious cash games

i like posker stars i only ever maded one deposit of $50 on there last year and nothing but cash outs ever since most of my money is maded play cash games i recommend cash games on pokerstars (bad players with lots of money) lol thank you john

Actually it was a couple players trading chips...etc... saw it twice against someone else. and when one player raises 600 and the other goes all in for 800 and the big stack folds for 200 more chips?? Something is wrong, a friend and I would do it on Party in the 5 dollar multis, they wouldn't let us play on a single table, but would the 2 or 3 table. I would sit in my office with the speakerphone on and tell each other what we had, or when one could afford to pass some chips. It was basically to get head to head at a final table for the sport of it, but after he told me to go all in post flop with nothing , I was assuming he was gonna fold his bet to give me chips..He called!! with a set..lol the bastard! recently was in a final in a 30, me and 2 others, they passed chips, the big stack would fold his blind to the his buddy, and both would pressure me. Once the shortstack was almost blinded out, and his buddy folded to him. Trust me, its hard to play against that. I stick to the big multis and cash games I can get out of if I don't like it. Play on Party mostly, but Stars is my second choice.

pokerstart is defenetly my favorite pioker site i love there tournys and i play full tile, paradise, and party poker, but pokerstars is by far my fav
