He ended up going out in 4th place. He did not even have enough to do a pot size bet. Why let me draw out two cards for free? This is a time when you need to defend your hand and take a shot at pushing me off a pot and winning a nice size pot against just one player.

I laughed when I saw his hand and realized he hit top pair and did not push. You have to defend your hands at all-times. He could have had over 2k in chips and had a decent shot at making it into the money, instead he left himself the small stack at the table.

Not to defend the guy, he should have at least faked at the pot, but a pair of tens here is 2nd pair not top pair.

Yeah, he should have made you pay to see the turn.

lol cant believe you checked the river you had the nuts but checked it down? passing by the opportunity to get even more chips..cuz lets face it after the river you wern't getting beat and he would probably just think you were trying to get him outa the pot so you had a better chance with your hand heads up plus by now he had only like 800 and 2nd pair you could havee got soemthing outa him.

You don't bet the turn because you've only got Ace high, and dont want to push the other guy off the pot and let the small stack win. The non river bet is ridiculous, especially bearing in mind the thread topic
