I play online, low to mid limits, and believe I have a reasonably decent game but certainly not professional material. One thing I can never understand is the constant vitriol aimed at players who river a win from nothing. Sometimes the losing player whines that the guy's a "donk" or "suck out" or "moron" because he played inferior cards at a huge statistical disadvantage and managed to take the pot. Personally, I'd much rather sit at an entire table of people who play bad cards and carry the trash all the way to the river. Certainly, lightning will strike me down every now and then but poor players are very welcome. I'm not all that good but would love to be the best at any table. Which brings me to my question. Why in the world would anybody get mad at somebody playing badly? It doesn't make sense to me and never has. I've been playing online for years (at a modest and sustainable profit) and have finally come to the conslusion that the players who scream about bad beats are, in fact, the biggest idiots. Am I wrong? Just curious since the practice of lambasting bad players who win pots is so common. Sorry for the wordy post, I'm simply curious. Am I the nut for absolutely loving bad players even through they occasionally cost me some pots? Over all, most of my modest winnings have been because of these fine folks. The older I get, the less I seem to know. You good players please stay away from me. You donks and suck-outs, please pull up a chair. Regards/Wormy
