Strange occurrence on 888poker

is it possible that poker site or game can be hacked by hackers or they knew everyone hands. I was on the table 55$ buy in one guy puts all in and he never raised and did not lost a single hand in front of me he sucked almost every player on that table. It feels like he knew that what is about to come. And he finally won the tournament.

Very suspicious, but, like Iryna said, dishonesty of poker sites is difficult to prove.

I suggest to make you observations in longer time periods and if you doubt the site at least to some degree, quit playing there immediately! I myself am not playing 888.

A lucky player i guess sometimes when i fold garbage hands in free rolls i fold the winning hand.

Confirmation bias : "look at this player, they're shoving ATC and can't lose, see there's another 2 outer they KNEW!" And then this confirms the belief they must have known. - that's from a psychology perspective.

From a technical perspective, could it be hacked to see the cards? Yes. But likely very rare and if so it would come from the backend (i.e. from the site or someone with access to the site servers). Remember most sites the info is transmitted to your device and the information being sent is only going to be the info for your particular account (i.e. sending you your hole cards not the other hole cards). We saw the super user UB scandal...but it wasn't a hacker it was an inside employee. And UB is gone.

However, bots could exist that are programmed to read the information coming to your device from the site to make decisions on how to play (i.e. like Deep Blue with chess) but this isn't seeing others cards, it's making statistical decisions based on the information. A debate for another day on bots though.

It can definitely happen - anybody and any site can be hacked. If you're reasonably sure, you really should report the instance(s) to the 888poker security bots.

This is a time where we can't be sure of any site, without proper regulation in the US... If I were make a deposit on any site, I would be sure to not NEED that $$$, or see it as gone (entertainment $$$), and if it comes back, with more, then cool...

any player can be easily tracked and his stats easily looked at,,,what`s his username?Rail him for a few games. Check his stats? Are they abnormal? Before jus whining online about being dominated in a tourny by another,do your homework Johnny,,,then make an informed post that can`t be mocked or easily dismissed. How is this possible. Everybudy on that table start calling him hacker that guys user name is a number. And most wierd thing is he never raised. He has only button of all in.

PokerStars isn't accepting players from Colombia :-(

I remember back in the days, the bodog software was highly suspicious to me. I swear there were MANY hands with AA vs KK vs JJ vs 1010. MANY. I was a super fried fish back then and I thought Bodog would purposely give out multiple pocket pairs to raise the pot action.......
It was just so absurd to me. Having dealt poker for many years, I rarely saw 4 HIGH pocket pairs in one hand.....I mean what are the odds? (rhetorical )

Now, I just don't think about it. If I thought online poker was rigged, I wouldn't deposit. I was just playing way to many hands back then.....

Nevermind I did research colombia has the USa strictness of law. Sorry you cant use PS it is because the government is very angry that they make deals with banks for free deposit cost for users.
