government exclusion list on PS

Hello

Does anyone know what the "government exclusion list" is on pokerstars?
I am unable to play for real - or play money since two hours ago on the site because I am listed on this "list".
Pokerstars, and the use of it, is legal in my country.
I've been playing there for 2 months and my account is like 5 years old. And suddenly I get this message whenever I try to sit down in a cash game or try to register for SNG. Also no play money games anymore.

I didn't know that PS would use such a thing but in the US they have them for casinos where people can ban themselves so they don't go gamble all their money.

Uhmm, Googling "pokerstars 'government exclusion list' " gives exactly one result; this thread. I would say it sounds like a phishing scam, but even that would have more hits. Screenshots?

This is obvious but did you send email to support and ask them about it? If so, what did they tell you?

this happens if you used pirated programs when playing, used the services of a microdeposit, but there are many items, just so they do not block

it is quite very difficult to read the text from that screenshot.
but yeah, if you play legit, then contacting support is the way i would proced.

That was actually quite helpful, as a few posts above it there was a request for a screenshot.

...but it's a bit odd that this is the first post after 10 years; still: for me it's a quality post!

I got no explanation for you guys, I started playing poker on full tilt about 10 years ago, probably joined this forum for some reason or other, and forgot all about it until I stumbled upon it looking for a response to my question.Wanted to make a new one, and it told me my normal alias was taken and as very few people use this one online... well, turned out that much to my surprise I had an account.

Anywho... don't think it matters either way, guessing nobody has an answer to the issue at hand here?

Im new here but welcome back. So 10 years later now how are you doing in poker? I dont see your question but as I said, Im new and probably wouldnt be much help. But Im curious anyway.

Reasons why Pokerstars ban your account or block it;

Using a Credit card whic is not yours/ Having a duplicate account and playing from same ip/ Letting an other user to use your account to play or to transfer money / Using a VPN connection or proxy and finally if you are playing from a country like USA after black friday.

I hope this helps you and I recommand you to contact Stars Security team to unblock your account.
