You're joking?
No. Not even a little. Is it crazy when somebody wins the lottery? Wow they hit their 1 in 10000041000 chance of winning. That should never happen, everyone should always lose. How often does the lotto get split between 3+ ppl? What's the chance of that... 1 in 400000000000000016000? You've never seen a one or two outer hit?

I love FTP....I don't see myself going anywhere else. Yes there's bad beats, that's online poker for ya, they're everywhere. I find in the higher stakes games the play is quite good.

Full tilt is one of the greatest sites ever. I have been there for a while and have had some good success. A bad mechanic always blames his tools. Don't blame the site but more your own play. Good luck ;)

I have to agree with the majority here full tilt is my favorite poker site.I was playing a cash game 25 50 cent blinds and had my kk get crushed by j9 of spades.Lmao I though the guy was chasing an ace little did i know he wouldnt fold his hand for his flush draw and endsup hitting a str8 happens all the time in live action and online at all sites

yeah right

Sorry but I have to laugh... someone is always complaining that they are getting bad beats, and blaming it on the site.

Since party poke quit the US there have been alot of new donks at FT. You have to change your game and adapt. I now play a more aggressive small ball approach.

If you are getting a huge amount bad beats maybe its time to re-evauate your game.

Are you making a big enough preflop bet to clear the field?

Are you calling a pot sized (or less) bet on the flop rather than reraising?

Most of the bad beats I see or recieve happen because of trying to trap or be too "cute", trying to trap... I have learned the hard way if I'm pretty sure I have the best hand I play it fast and hard especially in multi-way pots. Granted maybe I don't get the big payoffs sometimes but I don't get sucked out by a runner runner draw as much.

Learn to laydown a big hand to stay in the tourney, learn to pick your spots.

One other thing I see alot on FT is people playing AK like its the nuts... its just 2 big unpaired cards. Most people just don't know how to play them.

So instead of complaining about the site, do some studying of your hand historys find out why your getting so many bad beats. Then do some research in the poker books or pro blogs example; Scott Fischman on cardplayer.com is really good.

Bad beats are part of the game, learn from them then forget them don't dwell on them and don't let them affect your play.

Good Luck, Jimi

standart.....

Full tilt is a joke imo. Look at these 2 hands:

What annoys me here is the fact that I lose my AA to a set of 8s but there was only 1 8 left in the deck! Crazy stuff.

absolute standar..

do you never ear the phase "aces over king"???
do you never ear the phase "set over top pair"???

seem like you dont play too many hands..

it does seem like that i saw ivey pick up quads right on the flop to win 20 grand

ya and i seen ivey lose 40 grand with 10 10 to 64....so how do u explain that? no offense but why do ppl whine and whine and whine so much? u all talk like u have never sucked out on anybody before.....which is not true and ev1 gets lucky and catches a lucky river or a turn and wins with the worse hand. i really wish ppl would just start playing poker and stop whining...( it seems like ev1 just notices when some1 sucks out on them and not when they suck out on some other player)

I began playing at PartyPok and I got a lot of strange bad beats; i continued in Everest Poker anc the lowest card you can find in community is a Ten!
Titan Poker or Cd Poker nine on ten have an ace on the table.
Result: strange things happen on every Proom, and FTP is just like the others (even if i found it little better...)

PFFT to the OP!

Full Tilt plays faster games, it's a faster program than the likes of poker stars. Don't blame your game on the site.

That site treats me just fine.

i've seen ivey lose nearly 100 grand in about 5 minutes (two tables, combined losses were from 90-100k, to be more precise). your point is invalid. shush.

WOW!!!

Ivey lost 100k in five min?

I wonder if he kicked his dog?

I saw Matasow lose 20k in about 1/2hr he kept reloading for 5k andlosing it to the same guy heads-up. He blamed it on the beer.

There seems to be someone else always to blame. It's never the computer error only the human working the computer. FTP is my favorite because it is fast...no more bad beats than any other site out there. Just my opinion.

I tried fulltilt for about 2 months now and I have to say....poorest attempt at real poker yet. The random or should I say not so random card generation is a fantastic joke. They have more flushes than a public restroom and more bad beats than ultimate fighting.I don't see any reason to sink anymore money into this site unless you are donating just to donate.Think imma stick to Bodog and pokerstars.....

I play pretty much on FullTilt. Mostly because they have the best (to me) Mac client available.

In the lower level Sit-n-Go's I see a lot of people who will call a pot sized raise with suited junk (as in 4/10). I've gone all in with two pair, only to be called and beat by someone with suited cards that can't make anything other than two pair (low ones at that) or a flush.

This doesn't happen nearly as much when I move from the 250 chip Sit-n-Go's to the 2000 chip Sit-n-Go's. Probably because they don't win consistently enough to be able to afford to play in the higher Sit-n-Go's.

As to money games. I _thought_ I was good enough last year. That thinking led me to losing $700 (deposit plus bonus) over a four month period.

Now I'm working my way up the ladder in Sit-n-Go's until I can hold my own consistently in the 10,000 chip Sit-n-Go's. Then I'll revisit money games (other than freerolls of course).

Again, more bs on full tilt. The chances of 3 players having AA, KK and QQ in a 6 handed table are very poor. The chances of two of them hitting a set are nearly 1 in 100. Full tilt is just outrageous.

So you're showing us two hands, and one of those hands had 3 people with pocket pairs, 2 of them aces.

1 in 100 times?? I don't know the odds to be honest....but let's assume you're right.

This is online poker you see 100 hands in just over an hour on alot of tables.

In live poker you say maybe MAYBE 30 hands an hour.

As far as your first hand?? Maybe the guy who beat ya with crap...had to go to the lake or something and his wife was yelling at him? Stuff happens online.
