Poor Ful Tilt, how unlucky he was. He was sacrificed to Pokerstars. And before, when it was an independent site, I liked it even more than Pokerstars. I hadn't been on it for a long time. I even forgot about its existence.

Nope they changed everything only kept the fulltilt skin and put the poker stars software with it and since recently the let go of fulltilt completely so it will take you to the stars page unlike before.

Sad cause fulltilt had the better software way back then

Unfortunately, Full Tilt does not exist anymore. It was the first poker room I played in, I have a lot of fond memories of full tilt poker. I just don’t understand why Pokerstars completely deleted it, there was great potential in it!

I think full tilt really destroyed a lot of confidence in online poker. While the site was fun in its glory days and its always sad to hear of the demise of a site I fell no love lost with them being gone.

I understand that is not the same. But I don't know for sure. I liked to express emotions there, thanks to the avatar. Very original idea. It was a nice room, too.

Full Tilt lost its charm a long time ago. This is due to joining PokerStars. I tried to re-install Full Tilt from the official site, but I was blocked from downloading and installing. Then I realized that the games there were identical to PokerStars. Now it is lost and forgotten by many players unfortunately.

I don't see the purpose of FullTilt's existence after it was merged with PokerStars. One account - two almost identical software, one is redundant.

Has anyone noticed that the Deal jackpot goes up slower these days, not quite as slow as Full tilt days though. But when it was on Full tilt I had no shortage of coins to play thanks to the coin progress freerolls. Remember them? And of course when the jackpot was hit the payouts to all the players that had played in the last 12 hours was so much higher than it is these days on pokerstars.

I always preferred Full Tilt over Pokerstars!

Brilliant software, great innovation as a poker platform, but its shut down was inevitable after the purchase by Pokerstars. I would like to see back some time in the future, along with the legendary PKR, but little to no chances that it will happen.

For those of you, that forgot FTP history maybe give this a read and it will help refresh your memory.

https://www.mypokercoaching.com/full-tilt-poker-scandal/

Have not read the link but if it's about how they screwed over the player funds when they went bust its pretty disgusting. But when I read the terms of GG poker that has become really big it said their player funds are not protected in the eventuality of them going bankrupt. I would have though it right to completely separate funds not in play and them not be considered part of the sites holdings.

I also miss the Full Tilt of old. However, for a few months before they went belly up, I tried unsuccessfully to make a withdrawal. With that, and a few other things needing attention in my life at the time, I gave up online poker for a few years.

When I got back into online poker (and Cardschat :D), there was my Full Tilt balance in my PokerStars account. So a big thumbs up to PokerStars, for what they did.
