How about checking to see if the table file in the RedSkull folder is a JPG? In that folder, right-click on the file and click Properties. Make sure it's name is "table" or "table.jpg" and that it is a JPG file and not a BMP or PNG or something.

Im gonna add something, cause I had a similar issue, with the good luck background. When I had named it table.jpg nothing was happening. I went back and just named the jpg file Table and not table.jpg and it worked.

On another note, I also had to switch my background.ini file around. I had to put mine above the final table one on the ini file. My background and table are fine now, but when I go to my options drop down menu I named the table Luck and it doesnt show. If i go to none option then it comes up.

I am using Vista and I dont know if that has something to do with it.

Yep. That's why I said "table" or "table.jpg". "Table" for Vista, but "Table.jpg" for XP since it doesn't automatically put the suffix there like Vista does. Maybe I'll go add the Vista thing in my instructions. Thanks.

EDIT: Oh and for your list issue. Check to see that the names in your background.ini file match what they are referring to. Sys name to sys name, table name to table name, and folder name to folder name.

Ok, so I am just getting started on making a Chicago Bears table for FT since I have a mod for PS already. This is all I've done so far, but before I proceed further I have a some questions below.

Bears Table

My questions:
1. When we do the table graphic, exactly how large do we go? I made this one too large and it covered the table, floor, etc out to the edges.
2. I had an issue because the table/felt was blocking the center, so I followed the instruction to remove the felt and now the whole table is gone? Is this related to #1 since I made my table graphic too flippin' big?
3. If I shrink up the table graphic (assuming that gets me the table ring overlay back), do I need to change the floor separately?

Don't get me wrong, I actually kind of like the really clean look, but I'm not done with the table yet either.

The answer to your question number two may be the same problem I had. Go to graphics/table/racetrack and then click on the folder that your file is saved in. When it shows your file it should be named "table". Don't name this "ChicagoBears" or anything else. It has to have the name "table" to work.

Basically all you are doing is making a background. You put the outline of a table and all the doodads you want on it because...

2. I had an issue because the table/felt was blocking the center, so I followed the instruction to remove the felt and now the whole table is gone? Is this related to #1 since I made my table graphic too flippin' big?

When you get rid of FTP's table, all you have left is a background. So put a table outline on it, if you want.

3. If I shrink up the table graphic (assuming that gets me the table ring overlay back), do I need to change the floor separately?

Again, see above. There is no separate "floor" or "table". The background has everything on it.

Don't get me wrong, I actually kind of like the really clean look, but I'm not done with the table yet either.

I have that. The table itself is working (see pic), but the ring for the table disappeard when I followed the felt removal instructions. I did the navy blue background with the Bears C on it.

Okay, I was just wondering if that may be the issue. Stick is much better at this than I. I made a couple of cool ones, but it was with the Paint program.

If you don't mind stick, I would like to show them off by posting in here.

 Oh. Heh, didn't realize that. Thanks. So where do I get the translucent table ring (like you have) that I can add to my picture? Is that in one of the image files in the Full Tilt Folder? Or do I just have to draw my own?

Oh, and not that it matters too much, I guess, but all of the tables in FT appear to have dimensions of 794x547. That should be easy enough to duplicate. :)

I have a source for the basic backgrounds with the table outlines on them. Dude, lemme do a Bears one for you. It'll be cool.

Oh wow! I don't even like the bears (sorry JD) but I almost downloaded that one myself! Good job, stick!

And here are the two I made. I kind of stuck with the same theme you did, but they don't look quite as good as yours.

Yeah. They're tough to do with Paint. I use Photoshop Elements. It's easier to smooth out and edit the layers. If you put stuff in the center of the table, you need to lower the opacity of the stuff so you can see the chips and the amount digits, if you use them. Also, light colors can distract from the cards unless you lower the opacity and try to get the stuff to blend with the table.

The "chairs" are in the software. These are technically just backgrounds commonly called "mods", short for "modifications".

Oh goody, I've been waiting to get me another one. Still using the flaming skull one from last time.

Edit: Do you do any card mods? And how hard are they to do?

I don't have any or even use card mods, but they are pretty easy to find around. Not even sure how to make them, either.

Okay, was just checking. I'm still kind of partial to the flaming skull table. Maybe, if you wanna, and you got the time... you could make a flaming CC table mod and make it realllllllly cool! I dunno. Just wondering.;)

I already have 2 CC FTP table variations on my page. But maybe sometime in the future I could expand on them.
