I play 50-50 between pokerstars and VC poker, stars software is great and the variety of games is awesome.
VC poker is a european only site I think, and the play is very soft, but don't tell anyone as it is my wee secret.:D

pokerstars and full tilt they have the best poker softwares

And they both have Mac OSX native clients for those of us who don't subscribe to the mass marketing of Redmond. :p

How can people like fulltilt's hand histroy, I must play atleast 1000 hands a day and I cant stand IT!

Also Another reason why i dont like fulltilt is because you can record observed hands, not like pokerstars where they dont allow that.
I know many people who have this program called poker hound. For example they are playing a 3 table sit and go, they open all 3 tables up and that program records what their VP is Preflop raise % and ect..
So when you get to that final table you already have all their infomation from not even watching the table.

Best Hand History = Pokerstars
Best Software = Tie
Best Customer Service = Pokerstars BY FAR
Best Sit and goes = Pokerstars
Best Cash games = Full tilt (Rake back FTW)
Best MTTs = Pokerstars (MTT Structure is excellent)

My choice Pokerstars. ty

For me, I prefer Full Tilt, and I take out the avatars. It has the best graphics and is easiest on the eyes. The competition is a bit tougher, and I do not get "sucked out" on as much because of that. Mostly play sit n go's. I have been to "sportsbook" and have done well but do not like the graphics. Ultimate Bet is my second choice, but I do not like the "Late Registration for tournaments" I feel if you don't get in on-time, then your'e out. The Bad Beat jackpot at Ultimate bet is the best I've seen anywhere including live casino's. (reason enought to play there)
Be careful not to play too much blackjack with your winnings if you want to see the money though.........Anyway, I am STAMDUBBORN on them all.

Good luck to all.

I like sites I can win on. Frustrated at FullTilt, but very successful at Carbon. Also ran my Bodog account up from $8 to over a thousand, then got it ripped off by a hacker.

Bad thing about Carbon is low traffic, not much Omaha. Good thing is fishiness, tourney structure, freerolls, software reliability. I did like the hand histories on FullTilt, but just couldn't win there.

Is it just me that thinks pokerstars is insane???

I played there a couple of times after getting sick of partypoker and the hands I saw were mental.

no joke I was seeing quads and houses as often as trips and two pairs anywhere else. (a lil exagerated)

Bodog

Bodog has so many rediculously overpaying MTT Guarantees that I don't know why people haven't flocked there to bring the overages down. The overages have been big for years.

Try them, shhhhh, it's a secret!

I don't like Pokerstars much, seems like somebody always gets the "miracle" hand on me. But sometimes it seems all sites get that way!

Tiger, why should I choose the SNGs at PStars, also why do you think the MTT structure is best there? What do you like about it?

Thanks, Becky

FullTilt does have the repretation of having better players than most any other site. That's one of the reasons I like it.

I figure that if I'm playing against some of the better players available, then my game is going to be that much better, even if it means losing a LOT while I learn and improve my game. But then, that's what playing for "fake" money is all about.

I thought I had a 'good' game because of my play on the net version of their software, so I made a good sized deposit. I was so wrong.

So instead of jumping head first (so to speak) into the cash games again, I'm working my way up in skill and difficulty in the play money games.

I still play for money, now and again, but not that often, and for low stakes so I can build my bank up again.

Hate some, love 1

I dont know what the hell is wrong with full tilt. Im sick of it. I must be the bad beat champion of 2008. Im dead money at $10-$69 buy in sit and goes although i have came close in the $69 a few times. The bad beats were ridiculous so i had enough and tried Pacific and VC sites. Same again on VC but im doing really well on pacific for the last year. Bad luck i suppose with the other sites but im going nowhere else for now. Down about $1000 on fulltilt and VC combined. Up about $13000 on pacific. Enough said. Pacific rules

A little bit of advice. If you are going to go back to real money games get out of play money now. It just give players too many bad habits. For more experienced players, it will be like shooting fish in a barrel when you play at a decent stake. Play $5 sit and goes and play tight making medium to big bets with premium hands and bluff rarely but dont get greedy with your made hands. All in is always a bad move, you want to get paid. It might work at the low stakes but as you move up, good players dont call all in bets with 1 pair. Let them make the mistakes and dont play too many hands, biggest mistake of weak players online!

That's good advice. Thank you.

As to playing for play money, I warm up on the 2,000 18 person sit-n-go's and move up to the 10,000 person sit-n-go's.

It depends on how well I do at the 10,000 level for me to decide to play for money (low stakes $2 + $.25 18 person sit-n-go's) or not.

Playing this way has rebuilt my bank from a low of $8 to almost $50. A few placements in freerolls from here and other sites has helped as well.

Coke...no... pepsi...no... coke..Screw em both Im an R.C. man.Never was a trend follower.poker stars and Tilt are both fine and I use em both to fill the gaps, because they are so big there's always action.I stick to single table sit n go's on em no MTTs.I too dream of winning the sunday million or the daily 25k but in reality,it's not gonna happen 4 me or u.Look 4 MTTs on sites that have 50 entries or less with guaranteed money heres two PitBullPoker My personal fav. and sportsbookpoker .com which if you have trouble making deposits is a godsend ...NO credit or debit card is turned down.Ive made deposits with a card that was turned down at stars tilt and bodog. the cash games are soft at sportsbook too, cross over action from the book like bodog.

I play @ Fulltilt,VC and stars and i have to go with Fulltilt i just like there program and lay out better. Every time i play at stars bouth the lobby and the table lay out really bug me. Vc haves a terrible lobby and way to litle trafic. If also playt a litle on Ultimet bet, cake and everest(just freerolls on thease sites) and i whas not impresed.

Just like how easy it is to navigate the lobby and re-size the tables at fulltilt and the good trafic.

Stars and boss media network lately, occassionally mansion or pokersens and betlads.
But still i like the stars the most, especially because of all the layout and a whole organization;)
