Changes to PokerStars Note Box

Hey all,

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed changes to the functionality of pokerstars Notes box?

We used to be able to cut and paste from the notes box, and that feature appears to be gone - now you get table options when you try to select text and right click to attempt a copy. That stinks for adding a similar comment to multiple players' notes.

Also, I can't define this well, but it seems mouse functionality is not as good as it once was.

The scrolling of the notes box is different and seems "clunky", and the cursor often ends up one character to the left of the last text entered.

Has anyone else noticed these annoying little glitches - or am I just losing my mind! LOL!

By the way, I have been using the pop-up Notes box instead of the Notes box lately. It appears to function much more CLEANLY, but it's a pain to have to type in the user name you are looking for each time, rather than just being able to click on the user on the table directly.

Oh, and one more thing - users that had been on your table used to stay in the drop doen box under the Notes box. Now they disappear after being knocked out! So annoying!! Now, if I want to enter a note on an eliminated player, I have no choice but to use the Notes pop-out utility, and HOPE I remember how to spell the players name correctly. Very annoying.

Why would Stars make changes like these?!?!? Ughhhhh.

For me, I don't see any change since I use Pokerstars, and I use note box a lot, maybe is this new PS software update?

They do work, but I preferred the mouse copy and paste....plus I find that the text manipulation within the notes box isn't very stable.

I think if you VISUALIZE the hand in the replayer you can right click on him and add your notes. I do it all of the time.

I am not aware of this specific (mal) function but for two months had a graphics issues which I resolved via re-installing the software...until this weekend, when it would not resolve.

I reached out to PS technical (still not received a reply) then posted in the forum and orchidra replied regarding how to disable the new PS graphics engine as follows. You might want to try this as it put all back in order for me...

Select - Settings
Select - Table Appearance
Select - Table Graphics
Enable the new PokerStars Graphics Engine - Make sure this box is not ticked

Select - Restart Client
