Casino on poker sites.

Hello. This is my first post here. I've been playing poker about 10 years now, mostly home games. I've been doin well at times, but what bothers me is that each poker site got casino built into it. After like longer session of poker (6-8 hours tournament) winning couple hundred if lucky i can't resist to play some slots what most often leads me to lose all my bankroll. Any else have issue like this? Any tips how to keep yourself together or maybe poker site without casino inbuilt in the client? Thanks.

Luckily i dont even have this option in Pokestars cause there casino (and sports betting) are unavailable for me for whatever reason ...

E: After winning couple hundred you can always withdraw most of it and leave like 100.- or so for casino if you cant resist it or whatever

Clearly you have never had gambling addiction. Although you can withdraw, you won't only because you wan't to gamble. You think they could block my casino if i ask them via email?

And pokerstars i remember had issue a while back, when i tried to withdraw there were popup message, - cuz of recent deposit you can't withdraw for 48 hours to avoid scams or smth like that. Haven't noticed it lately, but was an issue prior.

Thats the thing. Pokersites used to be nice, then once one decide to add casino in the client, - all of them did. I really wish there would be pokersite without that crap built into it.

immediately take out your cash after a win. You then make a habit out of that, leading not into temptation.

It wouldn't help, - i would deposit it right back. I'll try to message pokerstars support and see if they maybe can disable it or something, - ban me from casino.

I do play casino games but not in poker sites, I play on a crypto online casino called stake, I do that because my bankroll on poker sites I manage it and play tournaments only.

In all casino sites i've played games feel a bit rigged in casinos anyway. They just eat money with zero payback really. Anyhow i sen't message to pokerstars to block me out of their casino. Will see what happens.

I think it's doable, try to stay away from slots.
Play blackjack or roullette or even monopoly and crazytime, well you'll lose on the long run but not as much as you lose on slots xd

Btw i have lost like four digit amounts to gambling therefore If this is not addiction then i dont know what is ...
But then again i may easily afford that to myself

As far i remember then most (if not all) sites do restrict you from casino or so if you advice them about that. I believe its definitely possible in unibet for example ...

Also from that pokerstars 48h gap between deposit and withdraw - last time i deposited there i also saw this message so (assuming this still exists) it has to be one reason i usually dont even deposite there that often nowadays lol

I don't have the issues with casino by one simple cause, because I not play in casino, only in Poker.
By my opinion, casino is Evil. Without comments!.. But I can't give any advice: play in casino, or not...
Everybody chooses your own path...
P.S. And for Poker sites casino is additional profit: nothing more and nothing less! Merely Business.

I actually put quite a bit of effort calculating game out, remembering each player on table, i don't make any notes. After like 6-8 hour session i feel like i didn't play poker ( for fun as it should be), but instead i worked and want to treat myself to relax. So slots it is and all session money down the drain.

I contacted with them via live chat and asked to remove casino option for my account, that i gave a gambling issue and its distracting me from building bankroll in poker. They said alright, will be done... I tried to log on and they blocked my whole account. Contacted them again - they say that as gambling addict they don't want me present at pokerstars. I guess partypoker or williamhill it is.

Just don't play casino games. They are negative EV, no matter how skilled you are because the house always has an edge.

I have always preferred Poker over Casino. Poker has its magic and those long tournaments of strategy, experience and a bit of luck; but I see the Casino as just about luck.

I always ask myself one question before placing a bet.
Are the odds in my favor?
If the answer is no then I don't place the bet. This has served me well over the years and I highly recommend it. I have never bought a lottery ticket.

The casinos are profitable for a reason, they tell you straight that the odds are against you and you will lose and those that are unlucky to win big at the start they will lose it all back and more.
It's not a way to make money, the only way you can really make money of a casino (online) is by sports betting (I know quite a few people that live of that alone) but it requires so much studying and analysing before betting.

I lost in a ridiculous way 400$ in 1 hour more or less , I was angry , I asked PS to exclude me permanently from casino games , that happened two years ago , now ai would like to take it back but on the last email that I sent them , they did not answer . I will try again . I mean , I also did that on Bwin , but they reinstated my casino privileges after I answered some questions , after I had clarified some things to them .hopefully PS will show some understanding . I did this while on tilt . I have most of my bankroll on PS , ai play there most of my games , now I have to deposit again and again on Bwin inorder to play casino , as my poker balance there is 0 lol

Most poker sites have a casino. My recommendation would be that every time you win, you make a withdrawal at once. Do not leave anything or leave a couple of cents, the idea is not to have anything in your poker account wallet, that will limit you to get into the casino rooms, withdraw everything after winning in tournaments. And you will see that you will not lose that profit anymore.
