Are there any sites you can cash out without having to scan your utility bill, drivers license, and credit card? I am not comfortable enough to do this, especially with how most of these poker sites are newer and haven't gained alot of credibility yet. Does anyone know of any sites where you don't need to do this?

I doubt you can cash out w/o this anywhere, and for good reason. Different sites will have different verification processes, but all will have one.

If you are playing on an unknown site, I can understand, but I havent heard of anyone having their identity stolen from a poker site. Not saying it cant happen, but if you want money from online poker, thats how it will have to be. I have never read anywhere about that being a problem tho.

A site that would NOT ask for ID verification would seem more suspect to me.

I never had to back when I had withdrawn from Bodog, FullTilt or Stars, but that was before BF(Minus Stars, that was after they opened withdrawals up). I'm with fletch, I would be more skeptical of one that didn't verify, it's only for your protection.

I never had to go through verification on Stars, but I signed up a long time ago and regularly cashed out small amounts. I think you just got to get verified. When you send them a bill, just black out any info you don't want to share. They basically just want your name and address of it anyways.

I cash out without doing the verification at Carbon, but I did make a first deposit though

Question is why play at questionable sites? Stick to sites that Cardschat recommends and you should not have any concern about identity theft.

You don`t specify where you live. It makes quite a difference. In the USA and a few other places, the following solution isn`t available. However, if you can, I would recommend that you use Neteller to deposit and withdraw.

Most poker sites require no other checks if you are a Neteller client, because Neteller carefully check out each customer`s identity. You need have no fears about disclosing personal details to them, because they are a very large electronic bank and entirely reliable.

ive only had to verify once,
using neteller,moneybookers etc, especially if you made a deposit before withdraw is easy- even they dont get your id- they just verify your bank acct- they the only ones who get to id check

Yeah have never had to supply verification when withdrawing using netteller so should be same with any e wallet ,you need to deposit in same way of course and if you want to cash out from e wallet you'll need to give them all your i.d. but not if just moving cash to another poker room .
