CAD Thursday Freeroll on Party Poker

So I've been playing the CAD Thursday Freeroll on party poker the last couple weeks since I started playing again. I got 28th last week and won a $5.50 ticket and placed 23rd last night and won a $11 ticket, not bad start.

Anyway, I've been trying to get my buddy registered. He lives right across the road from me, so is Canadian as well, but that tourney doesn't even show in the lobby for him. I'm hoping somebody will know why maybe or give me suggestion of something I haven't tried. Any ideas?

I thought so after thinking about it more. Also verifying ID. I remember I had to send in picture of drivers license before I could play cash tourneys. Thank You!

Ok so this is a rant and a warning for others. I placed 2nd in CAD freeroll last week on partypoker. During that tourney their was a glitch in their system that affected a few tourneys. What happened in the freeroll is that 2 players were never taken off list when they were eliminated. As a result they ended up in 2nd and 3rd place even though both were eliminated long before final table. Final table wouldn't even start till down to six players cause it thought the other 2 players were still in. Everyone in list got bumped down 2 spots because of glitch. I was awarded a $33 ticket instead of $109. I waited a week for this to be resolved only to find out they are not gonna fix my account. They are saying I placed fourth but told me the hand I busted out with. Problem with that is that hand was final hand of tourney. How can I be in final hand of tourney and not place 2nd at least. They will not acknowledge this.

I've seen so many complaints for PartyPoker lately. Another tried withdrawing his winnings only to have his account locked. Is this the way PartyPoker handles their clients, ripping them off so they can save a few dollars. It's no wonder that their player base is so low compared to other sites.

I'm really upset about this as I played 6 hours to win that $109 ticket and now being denied prize. But what can I do, they can den y and nothing we can do. Is there anywhere I can report poker site for this stuff?

JUST maybe... (idk, call it a hunch) the support staff you spoke with hadn't kept up-to-date on the FREEROLL for the Can. Fb group! MAN.. the REST OF THE WORLD SHOULD TAKE NOTE!!!... and BE WARNED!!!!! "The Sky is Falling!!!!"

If you are talking about the FB Cad Freeroll, look on FB for the password.

You have to join the PartyPoker Canada Community Facebook Group (or something like that). Go to Facebook and find the group. After you have been accepted, the PW is visible.

The support on partypoker is awful. I won't name any names I'm sure some people will know them. Basically someone getting a nice living for doing sod all, and if you criticise them they shout you down and remove you from their group. They want people to suck up to them and claim they do a great job which is the complete opposite of the truth. Not surprised people have been ripped off. Took most of my money out of there after a row with this support person online. They couldn't give a monkeys about the players unless you're one of their little gang
