I noticed that CardsChat does not have a user name for Bovada Poker and does not offer any games there.

Is there anything wrong with playing there?

I am limited because not all poker rooms will let Missouri, USA players play. I think that is so sad, but I cant do anything about it as I have no power!

Apparently this poker room is not so popular with the players themselves. Accordingly, the audience is very small. Therefore, CardsChat does not cooperate with this room. That's my guess.

There aren't any freerolls on Bovada. It is very soft. Bovada does not allow private tournaments any longer, so, that's why you won't find a Cards Chat game there anymore. One reason may people don't like it there is anonymous players, so tough to get notes on players.

I like playing there. Quick and easy payouts, use bitcoin

2 things - first and foremost there are no table names at Bovada - and 2nd we only need them for sites we have freerolls at.

It is still a good site to play at.

Here is the truth:

Bovada can be a great site when the software is running on all cylinders. The big issue is they update it and it constantly lags, freezes, or boots you off. Then when you call for a refund (why pay when you don't even get to play) they argue with you. They confirm that you couldn't play but will tell you 'oh you were the only one at the table disconnected" Why should that matter? They see you were disconnected it's not like you chose to just walk away. The service has gotten horrible, the bots have grown. Usually when this happens they fix it after 3-4 months. I recommend waiting or going to an actual casino until they fix the bugs. Nothing is worse than dropping $20 or more and being booted and having to argue with them to get the money back. And it happens more so than not.

I think Bovada is one that does not allow HUDS, and yes, when I make my deposit there, that's going to be the site that I will call home.

Especially since AOC/BCP are having issues, even though it looks like they fixed them, but they allow HUDS. Which I think puts me at a disadvantage in an already tough game, those sharks really eat me up when they use a HUD.

They offer a Bonus: 100% up to $500

In short, Bovada Poker is the most "pokerstars-like" of anyone in the US market: tons of games, quick payouts, and a long clean history. The main difference is Bovada Poker actually has profitable games.

I would like to see ACR/BCP take this same route, but I don't think its going to happen.

I think it's really strange that they're putting guaranteed prize pools on the mmts and then the player pools not making the requirements to meet the guarantee sometimes extraordinary Low. I find this anomaly extremely suspicious especially since the first tournament that I played in The Bad Beats I witnessed were mind bending. I did make it into the money but honestly I expected to be at the final table.
Anyway I'm currently doing a bankroll challenge turning $50 into 10000. I'll keep you updated and let you know how it goes on Bovada. I'm close to a hundred now and honestly I would have pulled my money out and going somewhere else for this challenge because of these suspicious anomalies anyone care to talk about the prize pool guarantees where i saw ended last night with like 8 players getting 500/1 on the money

Bovada sent me two checks that bounced causing me to incur fees. They did reimburse these fees. Then they sent me an check from a foreign bank that was uncashable anywhere within 100 miles of my location. I tried three banks, two liquor stores, Walmart and three check cashing/ cash advance establishments. They refused any other layout method for over a year. I finally threatened to reveal some very specific financial information to the FBI and they sent me my money overnight. After that, I was rendered unable to win a hand. I hope these crooks rot in jail.

Not cool at all. Customers like this, are just ugh...

It's 2019, if you're requesting a check in America from a poker site, you're just asking for it. You need to use another method, and also show some appreciation for the fact they even offer a check cash out method when your country doesn't want you playing online poker.

Back when they still did checks, last check I got from them about 3 years ago; they had some issues with payout delays and comped me 2 or 3 times with no rollover like $20 a shot as I sat and waited for the check of around $700 USD so small beans for them. Eventually they sent the check by courier from I think Hong Kong with a typed note saying not to disclose it was from a poker site or gambling site I kid you not. That was after an email stating to not disclose source of check and simply deposit it. I deposited it using mobile deposit with my US bank, cleared within an hour no fees, no BS.

Moral of the story...sounds like instructions were not followed in your situation. At least now that era has passed and transactions are mostly in bitcoin. Which ironically incurs more fees if we want to then sell bitcoin for currency then back in the dark days of checks being delivered by courier from random locales. :D

I assure you I didn’t walk into the bank and say “hey, this check is from an illegal gambling operation”. Also, when this happened people in other states were having success with their checks. Many times fees had to be paid to their banks but the checks were going through. There were no success stories from my state that I was aware of so I think that may have had something to do with it. Please don’t blame me for what state I live in. I wasn’t barred from playing. Also, it’s very important to realize that before they sent the unusable checks, my bank accepted their checks. Two of their checks BOUNCED FOR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS!!! That’s why thy reimbursed me after I had to waste much of my precious time documenting the case and sending them the proof that they didn’t need. TWICE! I don’t see that as defendable by any logical, unbiased person. Also, three years ago wasn’t anything like then transactional climate of 7 years ago.
