BOVADA IS DOWN! I was In this Tournament..

I made a deposit about 3 hours ago to try my luck at this $500 + $2 knockout which started at 9:30PM. I was in 1st place with $16k+ chip stack (Player 5)



Nothing was refunded to my account, than when I tried to contact chat support, the entire website Server went down! I also tried to call Bovada and they are no longer accepting calls.

Since the website is down, I cannot even see the cancellation policy!

Has anyone ever gone thru this?

I ran into this problem at poker stars when They had problems with the site. many players then interrupted, but fortunately for the players all buy-ins returned to the accounts.
but there were never estimates of the results of the tournament, only buy-in.
you just have to wait for a response from support.

Brutal. That sucks. They probably need a few hours to sort everything out before returning your entry, but I'm sure you'll get it.

Update: After about 3 hours, the Buy-In was returned! However, no compensation for being in The top 10 or 1st place!

I will continue to play Bovada since this is the first time but I actually was about to win in at least the top 3.

Additional Update: Almost 24 Hours later, Bovada added 25,000 Rewards points to my account. It doesn’t make up for 1st or 2nd Place during a server outage but it does make me feel a little better I guess :|. Better than nothing! I will most definitely continue to play on Bovada now!!

Bovada site outage update!!

While I was playing in the $500 + $2 knockout game last night on Bovada at 9:30 the servers crashed and site went down for a couple hours (No phone or Chat support available)

3 hours later, Bovada refunded the buy-in and 24 hours later they game me 25,000 rewards points without me having to speak with anyone!

Should I still call and complain since I was in 1st/2nd place when this occurred?

As understood it; 50% of the pot will be split between everyone, the other 50% goes to the players that were ITM [In The Money]
