Bomb Pots on WPN

Anyone have an opinion about this latest gimmick from WPN?

If you haven't played a cash game with this feature yet, here's how it goes. Four times every hour at a Bomb Pot table all players ante, then your cards and the flop are dealt. Play resume to normal there in. The ante is some multiple of the table's big blind.


I"ve played at a few of these tables. Sounds more interesting then it actually is really.. It does break up the monotony of grinding. But it's not all that...

Dumb Gimmick

Absolutely NO ONE benefits from this format except ACR... Of course they want larger pots, there rake is larger... but NO INCENTIVES to the players for playing this.. It will die very quickly

It may die very quickly, but right now these are the majority of cash tables going at the "low" .25-.50 & .50-1.00 level. I'm wishing they would go away already.

I avoid entering the bomb tables, i have no interese on gambling iff i wanth to gamble i rather go to the casino(thinks that i have never do,i dont know how the casino luck like,lol).

i rather play blast table tham entering in a regular one with this bomb thing

I've yet to personally play at one of these tables on WPN, but when I first saw the introduction, I was instantly uninterested in them. Especially as someone who plays lower limits and is trying to slowly but smartly build up a bankroll, the last thing I would want is to be forced to put in a bigger amount of money without a choice into the pot.
