They changed it because they wanted the games to start faster. You don't have to wait as long if there are only two opponents instead of three.

LOL!! At least it has got 3 players and a 2 minutes of blind structure.
There are few Heads up games on 888 lobby which works on an Instant Allin format and only 2 players.
So you can easily understand why 888 has changed it from 4 to 3.

The money that you win in first place is not as much as if it was 4 players.

these are the worst games one could possibly play in.

Notice how 888 tries to hand out 'free' tickets to play in these.. to get you hooked.
And when you go to use your tickets, it's set up so that you are buying in with your own money instead of ticket unless you pay close attention & unclick the box. Such a waste of time.
