Betonline Removes Access to UK Players

Signed up with betoline about a month and half ago no problem put my address in and all the other stuff. Won $8 on the cardshat freeroll and a few more bits. Never put a deposit in as to be honest have not got a clue about bitcoin and the other options I had never heard of or have access to at this moment in time.

Anyway last night I get this ruddy email.

It has come to our attention that your BetOnline account is registered in the United Kingdom.




Please note that, per our Terms and Conditions, BetOnline does not accept customers from the United Kingdom and your account has been closed. All pending wagers have been cancelled and refunded. Your poker balances, if you had any, have been returned to your sports account.




You have until August 30th, 2020 to withdraw your remaining funds.

Why in the hell did they allow me to sign up in the first place. I never deposited and cant now anyway as my account is blocked.

I have emailed them back saying to give my small balance to charity - will they, no chance they will just keep it.




So be warned. Useless lumps

yeah thats quite silly they let you sign up in the first place. they could simply warn players or just make UK not available as a country to choose. you now lost some hours for checking out this site but in the end you can be happy: there are far better places to play and in your country most if not all should be available.

Their TOC is vague and constantly changing. Last month they had NJ and not the UK (as of 6/20 looked it up web archive). This month they took NJ out and added the UK. At least you get your deposits back.
