Cake Poker

I'm building my bankroll up the same way. I currently play at cake poker mostly. It is US friendly and there are multiple daily freeroll satellites to a $500 freeroll on Saturdays. The Saturday freeroll pays 60 places,
  • 1st - $88
  • 2nd - $65
  • 3rd - $45 and so on.
The best thing about both these freerolls is that there are usually only 250 entrants and the satellite pays top seven a seat to the Saturday freeroll. I play the daily satellites until I get in on Saturday, then I always have a game on Saturday for some cash. Good practice, no risk.

There are also, what they call, million dollar freeroll satellites. These run daily and top 5 out of usually around 500 win into a monthly million dollar FINAL freeroll that has a max. of 3000 entrants and pays 1st $75,000. Pretty nice for a freeroll!

Cake poker has some nice freeroll opportunities,
not to mention the maniacs who pay off tag players.

Freerolls

You may care to look at T6Poker Freerolls 24/7 including 300 500 and 1000 Euro also not to many participants, and six per table max. Good Luck.

Full Tilt & Ultimae Bet are great for having alot of oppurtunities in freerolls to make some money as they have them frequently all day and night,it takes some luck as the fields are rather large, but the sites are the best

Pitbull poker might might not be a bad place to start with $0.They currently have a no deposit $10 free special running just for signing up.They run at least 16 freerolls daily. No software to download and gunk up your computer either as it runs on Flash which is kind of neat.GL

Im not sure if anyone knows this or not. But the other day i started to expand where i play freerolls, cus i'm a grinder unfortunatly, and downloaded VP24/7. played in a few fr's, and today discovered my account had $1 in it. They have micro fixed limit hold'em @ .02/.04, and also S&G's starting at .50 + .10. I won a 6-hander S&G (of course) and now have $2.50.

Sorry for pimpin out a site, just sayin you might want to check it out if you dont have a bankroll.

thanks for these useful informations :)
just a last question, when I'll want to try myself in Cash Games, do you think I must start with Limit or can I play NL directly (because I don't play so often on Limit Holdem) ?

On Full Tilt, at least, private freerolls (like CardsChat) will be a lot easier to cash in than the huge sitewide ones.

playmoney and freerolls are no good way to improove your play. people are just gambling! take 50$, sign up at a site of your choise and start playing at the micros. read a lot of theory, then read the theory again!
you must understand what bankrollmanagement is to play successfull.
when u play and theres something strange, post your hands in a forum!

when u really want to lern to play poker, don´t play playmoney and freerolls. take real money, and do alot of theory, read strategies.
when u UNDERSTOOD the strategy, then u can start playing.
poker isn´t about luck,it´s strategy!
DON´T GAMBLE!!!

Carbon Poker might be one of the best sites for freerolls. They have a whole series for new depositors and new members, plus $50 freerolls for anybody every four hours.

Beyond the freerolls for the zero bankrollers, Carbon has a great series of freerolls where it's easy to qualify with comp points for ring play. The fields are manageable and the prizes are substantial, with a $1000 freeroll daily, a $10,000 freeroll every Sunday, and a $50,000 freeroll the last Sunday of each month. One thing I like abut the Carbon freerolls is that they are more playable than tournies on many other sites. Good-sized starting stacks and real gradual blind increases allow the patient player to wait for his spots.

Cardschat offers the best Carbon bonus I've seen: 300%, although rakeback is available elsewhere. Be aware that your bonus expires anytime you make a withdrawal. Strange rule, but that's what it is.

DON'T PLAY PLAY MONEY POKER. It's terrible poker and you won't learn anything bu bad habits. It's not poker unless there's money involved.

The advice on here about playing the Cardschat freerolls is good.

FullTilt's own Freerolls aren't a good choice. Huge fields, small payouts.

You might as well make a deposit, get a bonus, and play some real poker. Any site that you think you might play long-term, you should hold out for a rakeback deal. When will Cardschat arrange rakeback, or do they?

If you want a free bankroll, you might google free poker bankroll. As mentioned in another post, Pitbull gives you $10 for signing up. There's a site called Poker Source Online which sets you up with initial $100 free at Absolute or Ultimate Bet.

Summary:
1. DON'T PLAY for PLAY MONEY
2. For Freerolls, play Cardschat freerolls. Also try Carbon. Other good recommendations from this discussion look like UB and bodog, maybe PS.
3. Make a deposit. Use Cardschat bonus codes.
4. Get a free stake at Pitbull or through Poker Source Online; Google for other possibilities.

A friend of mine has made a reasonable amount from playing freerolls and then SnG's on VCPoker - it's my favourite site too, but I'm somewhat dreadful at freerolls and can't win to save my life. I like the interface though - and there's huge amounts of terrible players....finishing in the top 50 of a beginners freeroll on VC is definitely achievable on a constant basis if you have the skill to handle them.

i find the shasta tables at everest a good way to start building a bankroll..its limit and altough im not fond of limit holdem becouse i find it boring and when i play i feel like a robot but its a fast way of earning 5CENT!!!!!!!!!!!:Deverytime u win and when u have like 20CENTS or so u can start earning bigDOLLARS:pat the NL sng's. i earned almost 30 dollar this way:D(before losin it again at higher buy-ins)
gl

:withstupi. This is where I started with $.05 wins that got reinvested into higher and higher SNGs. One trick is that once you have some decent winnings it's a good idea to move your BR to another site to make use of signup bonuses.

Now playing $22+2 SNGs on Full Tilt without ever depositing any of my own cash.
