I had some money in there, so I think I lost it.
If they have money in that poker room, it would be better to withdraw and not play there again.

they already did it with a lot of countries in the last few years, and continue. past week it was ukraine, for example. they close the account but cash out all money. so check sup for more info.

If its just a case of them leaving your market, rather than you specifically being banned, you will surely get your money back. You might want to check the spam folder of your email to see, if their messsage ended up there, since they have surely send some kind of notification to affected players.

According to unibet staff Ukraine was not in that list of these unfortunate countries though ...

Yup. Just found out they have disabled my account and then found an email buried in my junk email section warning me.

Its my smallest bankroll of any site but as it was built from scratch (without deposit) so I guess I have lost the funds.

Never enjoyed Unibet - had a run with them as did many others shortly after I joined. At that point the mods on their own forum took a patronizing attitude to members.

Hardly a massive set back but frustrating nonetheless. It just serves to underline 'banking' on certain sites isn't the wisest thing to be doing.

Just a simple update which might affect a few Unibet players in this circumstance but not the majority -sorry!

I emailed Unibet and asked what about a player who is from a valid Unibet market (the UK for example) but is currently domiciled in a market they are withdrawing from. Could they possibly hold/suspend the account and then reopen it if the player repatriates?

They replied promptly and said contact them if I return to my home country. I realize this is no guarantee as such but it shows there is some flexibility - I hope this applies to some other CC members. However, if it does, I might suggest contacting them immediately before the deadline runs out.
