I got to try PKR poker and I thought it was great! I think it's a shame to be done, I heard that all players went to poker stars. And now poker stars have a version with Virtual Reality, right?
But in any case, the 3D graphics with his personalized avatar with temperaments were very interesting ... and the best one would hardly catch. I hope that someday there will be another room at least similar

Of course I remember. It's been a long time, I loved playing there. I haven't met a similar poker room since. I think most poker players are not interested in 3d graphics, but in promotions, good poker software, a lot of poker variations, and it will be so for a very long time!

To be honest I had a few problems with PKR.com, firstly I found that I could not use the download from their website and had to ask for the disc so I could download it to my computer direct,
Then the game crashed regularly when I was involved in a game, luckily I was only playing free-rolls so lost nothing, but I did manage to build up a small bankroll of around £150 all from starting in the 10 cent giveaway games then Micro stake games.
My attitude to playing on-line Poker was and still is, If you have not made a cash deposit, then you cannot lose a penny playing Poker, Guaranteed! Even when they went bust and finished in the hands of the receivers, my bankroll disappeared with them and yes I was a little upset to say the least, but not too bothered about it as the money was never mine to begin with.
pokerstars came to the rescue and refunded me my total Bankroll, and as I was registered already with Pokerstars it all went into my PS Account, but I do miss the graphics and the social aspect of the game, players were more talkative as you could give your avatar orders to say things with one click of the mouse button like "nice hand" or "good game" etc.
The main difference between PKR and PS is that PKR was a 3D table where you could look at the other players sat at the table and they were more human like, But PS virtual is like being sat with all different cartoon type characters and meant to be played using a VR headset, and I think it has gone too far into VR realms. I would have played, if they looked more human like, rather than aliens and animals.
Still everyone is different, and you cannot please all the people, all of the time.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I use to love PKR, really made it like a computer game and felt more like you were in a casino room, with funny effects being able to alter the mood of the players although had to be careful you were not giving something away doing that.

I quite like their games, payouts and satellites. I do not remember missing the start of the target touneys with their satties and sure more people played normal speed satties there.

I think they were ahead of the curve in graphics for poker software an now we are seeing a lot of cumbersome poker software that is simple to look at but hungry.

I was surprised they went bust and will be interested to se if another casinos has taken them over, but of course they will need the player base and attract players of Stars, Party, GG and 888 to stay afloat. Will be interested to see how they do.

Not sure but many sites vanished due to the domain seizures and doubtless many others were weeded out by the market. The only site I know play is PokerStars, and I can't see that changing in the near future.

Yeah it was a fun novelty site, I enjoyed it because it was different. It was kind of a mix between The Sims and poker. It wasn't the greatest site to multi-table on but it was a fun place to play and had some decent games.

I do remember. My first visual contact with an online poker room.
