Hi guys, I'm wondering who also puts time on both sites: ACR & BOL.

My history: I started on ACR March of 2019, played most of my MTT volume Sept 2019 to Dec 2019. Also started playing on BOL in late 2019. I have about 388 completed MTTs on ACR and 16 on BOL.

Experience thus far: I'm a losing player on ACR but I'm improving with each completed tournament (IMO) by studying (through Ryan Laplante's LearnProPoker) and also review my hand histories (via PokerTracker4). However, I am a winning player right off the bat at BetOnline.

Granted my experience doesn't constitute a significant sample size on either site, does anyone else feel that BetOnline is MUCH softer, at least as far as MTTs go?

Do you think this is because there is no native HUD/PT4 integration so it's less friendly to regs?

(some graphs to go along with my more detailed analysis of BOL vs ACR MTTs Round 1)

Hey there,

I put time in on both ACR And BOL

It's not even close BOL is MUCH softer. I think of it like this. BOL is more primarily a sportsbetting site, so you are getting a large amount of sportsbetters that come over to the poker area, to just have fun or blow off steam. Therefore there are a lot more rec players.

I don't see why you wouldn't or shouldn't play keep playing at both sites. Main reason I say that is because ACR offers some extremely good value tournaments. You only have to bink one of those to make up for all the losses.

I would definitely put more volume into BOL.

Good luck on your poker journey.

BOL is soft for PLO cash games. Family pots abound, and the hands shown are very weak.

Thanks bro, agreed-- another reason I personally play on ACR even though the play is exceptionally better is because I want to get better myself; and that's only going to happen by playing against better competition. If, however, one simply wants to make a certain $/hr and they're content with it, then it's fine to put all your time on the easier site. But thanks again for confirming what I felt but didn't yet have all the data to back it up!

I literally played PLO for the first time this year... kinda love it but hate it and need to stay away LOLOL.

I agree with the above posts. Bet Online is DEFINITELY softer, but you don't get as much selection and the big series likes OSS, Venom, MomoPKO etc.

If your focus is building a bankroll, Betonline may be the way to go.

If your focus is on going after a lifechanging score, or just having a more user friendly experience (because ACR software is much better) then I'd be giving the nod to ACR :)
