Americas cardroom

I just made an account with Americas cardroom and started to play some freerolls there. I really liked to play on the tables because there are not so many pro players and it is easy game for beginners. I am however not a beginner in poker and played for over 12 years now. So I want to make my first deposit there and see how it goes. I am above average in playing mtt tournaments. Cash games I still find it difficult to keep a good bankroll management.

How do you guys think about Americas cardroom? I play it from europe. I feel that playing here is way different then on party poker and other major poker sites.

Have fun at ACR. Maybe we will run into each other at the tables. I really like ACRs software. You are correct, I play on a few sites and each one has to be played differently, adjusting to each sites player pool. I am going to respectfully disagree on one point. A lot of pros from across the world play on ACR, but it also depends on what stakes that you play. The 3-5 hours of late reg makes it a bit tougher too. That being said, I have met a lot of great people through playing at ACR from all across the world. Enjoy your stay and GL!

Once the ACR gave a little win, as it was, first a small win in the Freeroll, next then the game of jackpots, having played about $30, went to play in the stud8 blinds $1/2 won about $130 and the next day all the same and lost. Didn't deposits, but I think the room deserves attention for cash games, tournaments are in my opinion very stiff and boring.:stupido:

I have reservations about the integrity of the programming on ACR. It seems that it is anything but random. In my experience, once you win money it is next to impossible to keep winning. Bad beats just start happening until your money is gone. It is almost impossible to generate a bankroll in tournaments as it seems the computer only allows you to win money in one before the bad beats pile up. The programming seems to have one goal in mind.....for you to deposit more money.
This idea is supported by their policy of $ 350 withdrawal maximum and a very high tax on withdrawals...up to 20%.
So if you win a thousand bucks it will take 3 weeks to see your money which will have become $800 by that time. This policy increases the chance that you will play more with your winnings and then the above mentioned programming kicks in to take back your winnings.
In short, they are cheating people.

I have no idea what "policy" you are talking about. I have withdrawn over $2000 from ACR more than once and received it the next day.
