ACR Browser Hijacking

ACR hijacking browsers everytime the client is closed is annoying, unethical, and insulting.

I don't even like sites that make you click a 'are you sure you want to leave?' button to close them. Opening a new tab in my browser is even worse.

It doesn't bother me...although I rarely close the ACR App...

I reserve hijacking for something more intrusive than an app just opening a browser, but I do agree, I've noticed ACR is popping up a browser instance on exit, and it can be annoying.

I don't recall it always doing this, so it might be temporary for promotions.

I thought it was due to me being an Aussie, on start up of ACR or BCP I get a pop up telling me that they don't cater to Aussies, but that's as far as that goes I can still play there, and then when shutting down I get a page opening that I close before it even opens, I once waited a little for it to open and it never did.

I agree. I hate it too. It always did this, and then stopped for a while , and now started again after last update.

On Mac OS I just fq (force quit) the program (cmd+alt+esc>enter)

You then have to close the force quit window manually.

It's extremely invasive and adds to my browser history.

Bet Online also opens a small window when you log out, but I'll admit its not as annoying as ACR opening a full size window every time. Why are they trying to advertise to people who obviously already play there?

Well, I would say 10 months after I actually made the comment is better than never but I guess they'll just file it with the other comments under, HAHAHA Yeah Right.
