I do not like this type of reference in particular. I think that when someone requests information they should at least explain and also refer to the link, but not send the person directly to a link: "visit this and there they tell you everything", the most idualxes that if one has the knowledge there is try to explain in a simple way and at the same time invite them to visit the link
