I do it regularly. For me it's a good chance to get a ticket to a real money tournament. I'm playing poker 2 months.

I think, you are spot on with the addiction part. As with other SnGs, whenever you are done, you get the question "do you want to play another", and of course its tempting to press "yes", especially if you lost. I once played 8 1$ Spin n Gos on Stars in a row just to try it, and I really got the feeling, I was pulling the handle of a slot machine. I busted the first 7, mostly very quickly, and then only managed to turn a profit, because I was lucky to see the 10x multiplier in number 8 and also win it.

The BLAST is even worse, because the 1$ variety only last for 2 minutes, so its nearly impossible to utilize your skill edge. And if you resort to playing the 5$ variety or higher, then this can get very expensive really quickly. When I won 5$ tickets in the 3.000$ freerolls, I used them for regular tournaments.

i play blast 0.10 for fun. it's almost a fortune. When I won a $ 5 blast ticket, from 3000 freeroll made x10 and I won $ 35 if I remember correctly. I think they don't deserve to be taken seriously.

If spin and go's are like the cocaine of poker, Blast is like the crack of poker. Fast and addictive, but you end up as a loser in the long run.

I find 2 minutes ridiculous, and then sometimes players take their time and you only get a few hands in at most. I think if these were 6 mins or so would be a lot better, actually could try and play some poker in them.

Find the spin and go's on Stars seem to have a good time balance that still allow play.

Once at 888 poker there were daily tasks for rewards to play blasts and I decided to try. Of course, it did not bring much success. But their speed and emotional component was very attractive. Now I sometimes go to play 1-2 such tournaments for fun.

Most of the time is 1 or 5 $ prizepool , big amount are just lie ( my opinion) , not worth playing it , luck plays a major role in Blast

i get the 5$ ticket from the 3000& blast freeroll sometimes - but so far it much easier to get ticket than winning the 5$ blast round😂

i only got minimum prize or prize just one step higher - never seen anything bigger.

i would never play them if i didnt get the ticket for free (10c) or won them in a freeroll

All in every hand is 100% skill. Because you have to have the power to press the button for a couple of minutes straight and not feel like a m*r*n at the same time. If that isn't skill, I don't know what is.

I have played hundreds of the $0.10 Blasts last month in order to level up my account!! It was a lot of fun when I was winning or breaking even but in the end I think I lost a few dollars! I think it's wiser to invest my money in regular tournaments. :laugh::dong:

I used to play a lot of 10c, and had some luck.. I like the $5 tickets from the BLAST tourneys, but havent had a win yet....

I think blast tournaments cannot be seen as a discipline for stable money making. This type of tournament should be considered as entertainment, or when you have very little time and really want to play poker). I played blasts a lot but not for a long time, and I did not achieve results. I do not think that there is a certain strategy for playing in these tournaments, there is still more hope for luck.

Won another 5$ blast ticket today. Luckily prizemoney was 25 and as i managed to finish second then i got 7.50
