I just google searched to see if others were experiencing something simliar & it brought me to this thread, lol

Sounds like some kind of local connectivity issue. It`s obviously connecting to my area ok, but we are half a planet apart.

I dont know it it will be this but..
it happens to me sometimes it seems not to connect, try shutting down the process trought task manager and then reenter.

Actually did find out later that the site did go down for a bunch of players (but not all) for ~1hr. yesterday (was sitting with ~7,500 & got back on with 1,000.. 4bb's).
Heard this happened to many others on the 888Poker forum & then again later on P5's by the 888Poker rep. on there (888Anderson).

Yup so for sure it wasn't my imagination, lol.
888Poker just sent me 5 tourney tickets for the 'inconvenience'.

Also, in case others are unaware, 888Poker tourney results are now tracked by TournamentShark (& have been for ~2mos.). Great addition! (especially for those who already have this software)

I had a couple of disconnects today, but not for too long. I am from the UK by the way.

This was a disconnection problem that 888Poker had specifically on Sun. July 3rd. (not something that's happening on a regular basis). Alot of players were disconnected that day.

I have been awarded 8 tickets for 1000$ tournaments this week, yesterday reached 165, top 140 were paid

When I was on there last (maybe couple days ago?), there was a window popping up that mentioned that the site would be down for 'scheduled maintenance'. I've seen this a few times lately on 888 & actually am rarely on there. Sooo... I'm assuming you just unfortunately tried to log in at the time they were doing the maintenance.
They've got those 'webcam' tables now in Tournaments as well (this is part of the 'maintenance' lately). Some other decent upgrades on 888 including a decent HandReplayer (finally). HandReplayer was having some glitches last week... & am guessing/assuming this is also part of the 'maintenance'.

Just tried again and I still get same message and can not connect.
It would appear they are blocking Australian IP addresses or have overlooked this with their maintenance. SLACK!
O well guess I will cancel account with 888poker.com and go play TitanPoker

Same here....both Saturday, and Sunday.

Instant play is working but not all tournaments show up.
