Yeah definitely an "improving" experience, I whish you the best of luck. If, surely I will do it to fulfill more in what covers the forum, I think it would be a good experience
Since I went back to playing on 888poker, I can't help wondering if the CC freerolls are played by the same people on PS and 888 !!
The games are played so differently to the point where I start thinking that the players on 888 are not the ones who play on PS even when it's the same level on both (Platinum for exp.). We are all members of CardsChat from which we get the passwords, yet we don't play the same way on both sites ! What makes it so ? Or am I totally wrong ?
Any thoughts ?
They can have different usernames as much as they want, they are all members of CC and they all got the password from the forum. So when it's a platinum level game, all the players are platinum level from CC, not from anywhere else.Nobody can exactly answer you on such question. The players often have different nicknames on different rooms. But the Administrators of CC Community could definitely tell you all the information about the players on poker rooms.
Kinda getting the greedy ceo vibe.... anything to increase the value of the company... More deposit people make the better it is for the value of the company(stock). If players kept winning they would make less deposits. I doubt pokersites primarily make their money off of the rake. I'm sure some of them use AI bots that collect peoples money and send it to offshore accounts. And these aren't accusation this is my personal opinion even though it might suck. I'm not saying any of this is true so stop saying their accusations when its my own personal opinion. '' freedom of speech''
Here's this almost universal banter with online poker. There is the group of winning players who run in the upper brackets of online variance over their sample size, talking down to the group of losing players who run in the lower brackets of online variance over their sample size. The losers aren't studying enough. The losers are not playing enough volume. They're just bad at poker lol.LOL, you are right, of course the winning players wouldn't make deposits, but the losers would, and there's a lot more of them !
I think that regardless of what we post here on this message board, people will continue to trust online poker, deposit, and lose their money on 888 and PS, and many other platforms as well. Nothing short of exposing something completely belly up like a superuser scam will get anyone to think otherwise.I hope you delete my post cause personally If people want to lose their money its up to them... but know what I said is true
Thank you for the insight puzzlfish. I just wanted to insinuate (To James) that whining players are obviously losing players, and instead of studying more and trying to understand that the game has a crucial mental side that cannot be ignored, they just keep complaining about every cracked Aces (One pair hand !!) and every suck out they've experienced (Sample aside !). Amazing how a player can invest so much time trying to unveil some weird conspiracy theories, and not invest it in the game itself. Here's this almost universal banter with online poker. Some people just don't get to win. And that isn't to say they never win. It's saying that, over the long term, the ROI graph just doesn't move like that of the winners somehow. And that difference is somehow by default attributed to skill, without seeing or knowing anything about the contents of each others' games.
I would say you are right when it comes to the volume they have and the huge number of tourneys available all the time. There is nothing out there , better than Pokerstars poker room. Just my opinion.
Absolutely! I didn't mean : "Hey guys, do not play on PS" !! Who would listen to me anyway ? Besides, I play on it everyday myself. I only wanted to point out the improvements of 888 interface and the feeling I have about CC players playing differently on the 2 sites.I prefer 888 for sure.. I have an account an PS, but really don't use it much. Perhaps I should with the CC freerolls there?
If you played on 888 a while ago, maybe you should take a look at it again. That's what happened with me and when I went back, I found a huge difference. I found it a lot smoother and more enjoyable than it was a couple of years ago.I prefer to play on ps instead of 888 because I did not find any problem with them, as it was unlike the 888
Please argue? Why do you think this?888s rake scheme is basically unbeatable and is a border line scam and therefore only the noobiest of noobs tend to play there.
That's what I tried to point out in this thread. I was wondering why the same players play differently on those 2 sites, but I never thought that the software could have something to do with it !! 😂🤣I have the same impression...kindof crazier play there than on the (same platin!) freerolls on Stars
maybe the 888 software from the 80's tilts the players so much, and this happens (me too sometimes)
Since I'm back playing at 888poker, I can't help but wonder if CC freerolls are played by the same people on PS and 888!!
Games are played so differently that I'm starting to think 888 players aren't the ones playing on PS, even if they're both at the same level (Platinum for experience). We're all CardsChat members, where we get passwords from, but we don't play the same way on both sites! What makes it this way? Or am I completely wrong?
Any ideas?
Well, finally someone agrees with me. I think it's so obvious. For example, if you raise on PS, you might have a caller or two, maybe none, whilst when you raise on 888, be sure to be called by 4 or 5 players and sometimes you get a couple of shoves. So I don't even bother raising unless I have a monster.I agree, at 888 such an impression sometimes develop that half of the players came to play in the casino and not poker, just for good luck, every hand is online and it doesn't matter what hand they have, AA or 26 offense
Which is part of the reason it is so beatable (not sure how 5% is a scam though)888s rake scheme is basically unbeatable and is a border line scam and therefore only the noobiest of noobs tend to play there.
