888 Poker removing National Flags

Folks, Anyone know why 888 poker has removed British Nations flags from their site? I used to have a Saltire as my identity but it is no longer an option. The George cross, N ireland Flag and Welsh Flags have gone as well. The only flag available is now the Union Jack. I complained to them twice but they never responded.

I have not noticed flags like you describe in the two years I have played on 888. How long ago could you use those flags?

If you are talking about avatars, then on the old version you can still chose it:

The new version of the client has different avatars as far as I noticed, so some must have been removed.

I saw on the official Russian 888poker Twitter page algorithm how to return to the old version. They posted it, cause there were too many complains about obligatory new version. Can link you to the article if you need it (in Russian though).

It is possible now, and it's not that hard! You just have to download old version from here https://t.me/official888poker and then install it following the above-mentioned article instructions.

The new software anyways ain't so good so it's better to just forget this site.

I still try to casually play on week to week basis but it's so painful with the new software

A picture with a face is shown for players who at the moment, for whatever reason, can not determine whether the IP belongs to the country. It often happens that after a while the country is determined and the icon is replaced with the flag of the country.

6. Enjoy 888poker old version=)

I have not noticed flags like you describe in the two years I have played on 888. How long ago could you use those flags?

They've been on the site since the beginning (about 18 years) and were removed 2 years ago. I've complained that its racist not to recognise individual member countries but have been ignored. It appears to do with Scotland wanting independence and the UK leaving the European Union. The English government are pushing the Union Jack as a Brand. It appears in Supermarkets and on TV everywhere. Look at Boris' Union plane which cost nearly a million to paint. Its absurd. Looks as if 888 have been bought over as well. Why else would the flags be removed, if not political?

hi again. really thank you so much for your effort. i did like u told me but there is no folder "utils" there. it does not work, i dont know where to put version.cxm.

also my pc created a folder "bin" after pacific poker and i have to click on that before i see all those 888 medias.

yes brother the mistake was that i tryed to find the utilis folder in the wrong place (bin folder). also you need to replace the version.cmx file that is already there.
