888 closing Play Money Poker???

Hi @all, dear Poker Friends,

I am new to CardsChat and happy to be here - seems to be very interesting what is going on here! Big community, great!

And on my first day I have my first question:
I am 3-year member with 888Poker, only playing PlayMoney. As you all know, 888 has been struggling very much with their rollout of their new (and to some extent terrible) client ...

In conjunction with these problens (and knowing most people go back to old client since they haev the option to do so), I have heard today 888 is about to close down on PlayMoney in 2 weeks - is that true? If so, whtat are the reasons for this? Still too many cheaters?

Do you have any news about this topic?

So 3 years in 888 and you only played with play money
If i was you i'd play with "play money" in zynga poker App(which i did 5+ years ago i think) instead of using real poker site for it(but that's my opinion)

Anyway if this is true then i hope that pokerstars(and all other poker rooms where you can play with "play money") will follow

Well, what can I say ... I have my reasons why I don't play real money, espcially not on 888.
I simply don't trust the whole thing anymore, to be honest, and I am not alone; I also played real money there at the beginning.
I also play at PokerStars, which started off as a Pokerschool and not as a real money site as far as I know, and I would not spend any of my real money there either any more (I also invested some real money there at the beginning).
No coincidence so many PROs left online poker for obvious reasons ...
I can see you are not a fan of Play Money Poker, but I hope that Pokerstars does not follow 888's footsteps here .
