888 client download vs AVG

Hi,

Some months ago I wanted to intall 888 client. AVG antivirus is blocking saying that 888poker download page is infected.

I tryed again today getting the same result: URL:Mal

Any idea?

Update: I'm waiting for an answer from 888 support team.

I think AVG detected like virus because 888 try to get data in and out, so for this is that warning. Ff you downloaded it from the website, do not worry.

The other option is playing with the 888 App.

In the antivirus settings, allow 888. Add to exceptions. Should work.

Well, it is not the 888 client that is being detected as dangerous, but the download page. Anyway, I'll give a look to the code of the page when I have some time.I suspect that the download method is the problem.

The other option is playing with the 888 App.

It would be great Souza, but I have a damn iphone, It's a gift from a person I do not want to hurt, so I'm forced to use it (I try to do it as little as possible).

After checking the download page code, If I do not detect anything strange, I'll add the download page URL to the exceptions.
