888 Blasts -- scam or not ?

Hello ,
i wanted to see how i run in blasts on 888 but Holdem Manager support said 88 does not allow HM on blasts ... that right there was a big question mark.then i said ..ok i wil make an excel to see how i`m running .
First i was interested in those blasts that are finished after the first 6 minutes (when everybody is allin) so i`ve decided to split then in 3 categories .1 i was big ( i had more than 1000 chips over my opponent ) , 2 equal chips( diff < 1000 chips) and 3 i was small ( i had less with 1000 chips then my opponent) .

in the last 2 months this is how it looked like . at 5 $ buy-in ...lower is just a joke with 2 minutes gameplay don`t get it why 888 is so far away from competition with their blasts ? only recently they decided to give up the 4 players format which was a terrible joke.but kept the 6 minutes format ...why would you ask ? let`s see.

1. 184 Win 124 Lost. had over 65 % chips
2. 198 win 273 Lost . both had around 50 %
3. 74 win 173 Lost . had under 35 %

in february it looked the same way ( at point 2 for ex -- 110 win -141 lost) .

i have theese statistics detailed by day ..even with flips before the 6 minutes ... and with prize pools .
for ex in the last 560 games it was 51.32 % 2x (10$)
41.09 % 3x (15 $ )
6.17 % 5x (25 $ )
1.41 % 10x (50 $)
they don`t show theese probabilities on their website -- that right there another red flag .
the average prize pool is 13.65 $ so only from point 2 -- 75 diff -- around 40 i should have won -- around 500$ only from this part.
i`m telling you ..i started making theese stats in january without a plan to make them public so i trust that i did them accurately but is this normal ? every month is the same ..hardly a day where i am in front ... like 1 in 40 .
we all know that when you open an account the gods seems to favor you ... bigger multipliers , lots of flips won ... etc etc.they all say it is not true ...but isn`t it ?
when you withdraw more then you deposit ... things will never be the same got it.but should be there some kind of auditing (for real) not paid by them also who can protect us ?you can get really sick in your head with kind of unfair treatement and no one seems to care.like if we are poker players we are not humans with equal rights

The blast format is basically a lottery after the timer expires. 888 Poker took out the 1000x multiplier with the new three player version. Overall you can only breakeven with this all in format unless you can find the 100x or the one in a million multiplier.

Looks legit to me high variance though I quit $100 blast few weeks back when won this one and made a withdrawal been in profit there since on 888.layingba

Those numbers and equity percentages are suggestive of a downswing or bad run rather than anything going on with the platform. Under 1,000 games is not a statistically significant sample size in an incredibly high variance format.

I don't like Blast and Spin & Go. Most often you get a 2x buyin multiplier for a game with 3 people in it. Shouldn't be too difficult to realize you're not going to have an edge in that game especially when everybody is all in mandatory within 2 minutes. The next biggest prize multiplier is 3x which is just what everyone bought in for to begin with ....

First of all no one in their right might can state the wheel which determine the price is random. But isn't it supposed to be ? In fact no wheel on the site whether is the free or the cashback is random. That alone says it all about 888. Moving forward looking that in any given tournament the vast majority of flops have the combo flush-straight-full and the fact that very rarely you see a rainbow flop which is unreal from my point of view there is nothing random about 888. The whole thing is s scam and has nothing to do with poker.

Difficult to make money=Yes
Due to the timer you have very little control over the outcome of the game in most cases and there is very little edge if any to the better hyper turbo players.
Even in the bigger multpliers the timer is still there and affects game. The couple big ones I hit had timer of 5 mins and 9 mins.
Unless you are hitting and winning the higher multipliers regularly you find hard to make any profit over any long period of time.

Is the format fun=yes
I find these game enjoyable and a nice change of pace to regular games. I play a few almost every week for the fun of them but it is not something I will invest too much time and money into.

The whole last part of the first post is mental. Anything you believe to be true you will make it true by looking for patterns that support your theory and ignoring the evidence that say the contrary from the same evidence.

Think 33% win rate expected overall in the lower stakes doubt I would come out with profit playing hundreds of games noremorse to be honest getting put all in with J2 ect when timer runs down is just pure luck if hitting no big rare multipliers game gets very hard.
The higher buy in blasts and bigger multipliers though have extra time so play more like a normal games.
If playing this game need to have a stop loss and quit when ahead point too and just view it as a bit of fun and getting your extra 2k,10k and 100k freeroll tickets I normally stop,
Or no time to play tournaments or something maybe might play a few,

The fact is that there are over 1000 games analized.i can add the numbers from the previous months but they all look alike.
theese are all 5 $ spins so you have 6 minutes to play or more .

my question is ..if RNG is not influenced how come in 4 months over 5k games what should have been a 50 % result is not.and not only on total but allmost every day.when the timer hits and the allins starts i do not win 50 % of the games i should.HM is not allowed on this format.so ... how can i prove it ?

The answer is very simple. From mine and other people experience, on 888 at least ,the cards are manipulated to create action. Some may argue that it's okay but in my book any type of tampering with the cards or any other part of the game that is supposed to be random is plain and simple scam. Due to the nature of blast game is it easier to observe there but if you play long enough you can see the patterns in all tournaments.

It is clearly mentioned by reputed poker reviewing sites that Blast games are lottery ike poker game though 888 has used "fast paced" word instead of lottery.
So if we are going to play a lottery and we know it very well. So we can not say it a Scam. It is our decision whether to play this format or not.
Applying Maths on lottery games are just a foolhardy JOB.

I used not to like them , but now they are better , I think I kinda like them , especially for fun using freeroll winnings , to generate rake very fast for easy leveling up for 888poker club levels freerolls .


. Also , I have found some ways to generate more wins , some betlines , also some ''games'' with time bank , when necessary

You really need to win when the prizes are bigger , or other games are just to break even in the best case . I played all my blast free tickets , got some winnings , played more , got some extra , I am going to play them more now with the expended bankroll , see if I will keep on having winnings , or if it was just an upswing temporary coicidence ....

I posted this in 888 official thread but most likely will be deleted because the 888 rep does not like my comments. This happened before it is not the first time.

So i am playing 2 blast at the same time. The lag is high and the time passes without cards being dealt. Then i get put on sit out and whatever i click i cannot call or raise it's auto-fold. So i am spectator as this rigged site take my money. Thank you again 888 for reassuring me that you are a scam and steal people's money.

Hi mate.Not at all..Everone knows the rules of this game before we play it,so yes ,after 2 minutes it seems to be a lottery but I have fun playing them and don´t lose money..What´s more I won the $100K freeroll ticket by playing $0.10 Blast games.
