888 10c blast gone

Havent played the blasts on 888 in awhile and wanted to get some practice in but just noticed there are no more 10c anymore. Is this recent or maybe i just haven't played blasts in a long time and never noticed as i usually played the higher staked ones.

The 10c blasts have been replaced by 50c. I believe it changed about a week ago.

To me it has negligable difference.

Thanks for clearing that up! and i get what your saying i cant imagine lots of people played the 10c but was looking for a change pkrstars appreciate the reply as i wasnt sure if i was imagining things.

I won a $5 BLAST ticket today, played it and didnt even notice the change.. I used to play the 10c a lot but never had much luck. Now when I do its the $1

How can you practice if you have 2m before all inn?

The blast format is terrible anyway. Want to play a slot machine? Go and actually play on one with fancy graphics. Why play a slot machine that's dressed up as a poker game? Oh wait..

As the others say, especially the 1$ and below BLAST, which only last 2 minutes, are almost not even really poker. You get 2-4 hands, and then its forced all in, until there is a winner.

If i win blast ticket in the spin , it s only 10c blast ticket . After th recent change, if i win a blast ticket in the spin i still win a 10c blast ticket , even if it has been changed. All i can do with it is to play some tournaments with 10c buy-in .

Its kind of hilarious, that they still call it a "BLAST" ticket, when you can not even play BLAST. With that being said they now have a new 10c tournament, which run every hour with a price pool of at least 10$. So if you are new to tournament play, maybe this is the chance to get a little bit of experience for free

Yeah thanks for your advice, but it s not worth it , better if they just expire , also , it s not possible to play in this new tournament with the ticket won (10c ) , the games where to play are limited also lol

I had one of these tickets, since the 10c BLAST disappeared, and I actually think, I used it for the new hourly 10c tournament, but not really sure. Its a hyper turbo with 3 minute blind intervals, so I busted pretty quickly anyway. But yeah. I am also at the point, that if I win this again, I might just let it expire. Its kind of difficult to get exited about a tournament, where the buyin in 1BB in my most normal cash game

Helps practice range for low equity as i can play it all day and it not effect my balance. Good for the push fold game in late stages of tournaments especially if you are the type to change your play style unwittingly around the bubble.

Guess i will have to give the snap and step tournys a shot but i was just clearing that up as i was pretty positive their use to be a 10c blast.

At least its a real tournament and not some sub satellite to something else, which you then need to play as well, if you win a ticket. I wish they would give rewards in slightly larger increments than 10c, but at least the 10c BLAST only took 2 minutes to complete and could be done, when you did not have time or were in the mood for a real poker session

sorry for the late reply, yah the low micros at 888 are all bingo for the most part i find. the 10c 50c hourly tournements really need atleast 2-3 buy ins and the variance is all off even if you do find yourself doing decent and cashing. i just use it for preflop practice and developing my range etc..

Yeah I use to still to the 10c blast with these even though it was a slot machine. Don't want to spend the time using them on a tourney for this amount...edit..just spotted last 2 threads, will carry on for the blast tickets then but would never play these ridiculous ones otherwise.
