After OSS ended on ACR in June, I took a break from online poker

Now that ACR has announced OSS is coming back Aug 3rd-30th, it is time to get warmed up

How is the ACR tournament structure going nowadays?

Here is a situation for fun, this was during one my OSS runs during June

We are 12th in chips out of 21 remaining

7 handed table, folds to the blinds, and SB rips 27bb

Do you call or fold here with KJhh 23bb in the big?

I folded and we busted 10th

IMO, I didn't want to commit my tournament life with KJ suited, even though it was blind vs blind

We might've been extremely strong here, and if we were, probably ahead 70/30

But do you really want to commit with KJ of hearts for 23 big blinds? AJ suited I might've snap called

We are still losing to A high here, if we called KJ, please put your inputs!!

Tough call on the KJhh its not usually a call for me but a “push or shove”in position so I think you played it smart. If you can’t take the pot down pre with a 3bet shove then you running the cards either way as if you call and miss flop your pot committed and can reason with pretty much whatever flops expect the dryest boards. Don’t under estimate the suited connectors that’s for sure. If you have a tight table image and are playing to win Around this point is when you want to open up your range so you can chip and win or top 3 as that’s where most your roi comes from
