It's been rumored that it was moving for awhile. The pandemic probably delayed this move, but now it's official.

Have mixed feeling about this. While I agree with others this maybe for the best, my only 2 time ever playing the WSOP was at the RIO. It saddens me not getting to play one last time there but time marches on and things change. On to Ballys/Pairis.

Hopefully this is a good move for the benefit of all players . I think it won't have a big parking lot , maybe they find a solution for this as well .

Good afternoon.Great memories of that first WSOP final table at The Rio that I watched on ESPN. Amazing atmosphere!.But this is the end of an era.I hope that players will have a better experience at Bally´s &Paris Las Vegas next year.

The logistics of getting from the strip resorts to the Rio was a headache. This will be a good chance to catch the views of the Bellagio fountains from the Paris before they get replaced.
