I wonder how many of our members knew there was a World Series of Gin Rummy also known as the WSGR. In fact, the WSGR has been in existence since the year 2000. Californian business entrepreneur Mario Delis, is doing his very best to try to revive the interest in Gin Rummy through a website and hope to regain the interest into what he refers to as 'the best card game ever'.

The article linked below includes a little history of this game and maybe people might be interested in finding out more!

It's considered to be similar and close to a variation of Gin Rummy. Canasta is played with 2 decks but the only Gin Rummy that I've played is with one deck.
