Interesting format , I will try it , but only for fun , to see the gameplay . Change one or two of your hole cards preflop ?? Funny , it reminds me of that old game they introduced in the past , with the powers that you could get and use (one of the powers or two had this option )

That's just crazy. They're changing the fundamentals of the game. Seems like they should have to call it something else. Maybe Kansas Switch em would be a better name.

This is made for fans of quickly changing starting hands. They can change the situation on an unsuccessful flop, as I understand from the article. Swap Hold'em will find its players.

This is essentially Hold Em's version of Zap-It blackjack found in many American casinos as a variant to the traditional Blackjack. Interesting that it sounds like you have to swap at least 1 card from the start, so even if you're dealt a pair, you would have to drop one before the pre-flop betting happens? Reading the article, it wasn't too clear if that was the case or not. Nevertheless, an interesting variant that I don't see becoming the next big hit in the online poker world.

This variation modifies the whole game, it may have a number of players that fit this, but I do not think it would be the majority, I will not try to play it personally, I think I would need to modify my whole game in order to adapt.

Well, at least it makes a lot more sense than some of their other novelties. I do not find any of them particularly engaging but could see how this would appeal to quite a few.

My issue would be when I run poorly on PS I seem to run poorly for an extended period (orbit after orbit) more so than other sites. So I can imagine swapping out 9 4 off and promptly being given 8 2 off, over and over... and I am only half joking.

Innovations PokerStars reminds me of Apple's innovations, at first everyone says that it looks terrible, interferes, and is completely out of place.. and after a while, all the others amicably copy this feature.

But seriously, it is a very interesting format. By the way, the accusers of the pokerroom in dishonest RNG will now have even more reasons for their arguments.

thats just childish not to say stupid. poker needs to stay the same it was in the beginning otherwise it cant be called poker but a stupid way to attract kids or people who have nothing to do with the poker game fundamentals. guess 888 wont mind few more members

Yeah, the throwables are stupid I blocked them. Being able to change cards and or unfold hands is stupid it's not poker. I wish they would also emove the idiotic tempest tables..

Looks much like another twist to keep the bingo players happy in a poker room...
I don't see me playing this... At first glance i would say that this devaluates the top
hole cards dramatically...

Now the donks can call your preflop raise with 4 7 off, and if they don't flop a miracle they get a second chance for free by swaping.

Say good bye to AA as the favorite hand....

Maybe a solid strategy can be developed for this game, but most people already struggle to play standard Holdem really good, so the aditional complexity is sure to overwhelm them.
