Stadium Series: Is PokerStars Losing Its Leadership In The Online Poker Market?
While partypoker and GGPOKEROK prepare for the WPT and WSOP, PokerStars is bringing players another typical MTT Stadium Series. Despite the good guarantees of a new series of "red spades" and a large selection of tournaments, Stadium does not even come close to the status of a competitor for the world series. Does this mean that the Stars lost the palm to their closest competitors?
Why World Series Passes By PokerStars The pandemic has made serious adjustments to the work of poker rooms and the organization of offline events. PokerStars was among the first to suffer from it - the sudden need to curtail its offline activities forced the room to abandon the EPT and PSPC series for an indefinite period. Stars did not have the opportunity to quickly move events online.
In this regard, the organizers of the WSOP and WPT were more fortunate - they had time. The successfully organized WPT Online and WSOP Circuit Online in May are a good illustration of how you can transfer live streams to a remote format efficiently and with minimal losses. At the same time, it is clear why the organizers of the series hold them exactly at GGPOKEROK and partypoker. In addition to long years of cooperation in organizing live tournaments, on the online world series, both rooms show good dynamics of player growth, have modern high-quality software and provide players with conditions close to offline play - no auxiliary programs and play with real names.
re: Poker & Stadium Series: Is PokerStars Losing Its Leadership In The Online Poker Market?
Supposedly.....everyone here plays online. Somewhere. The legit sites or the slightly sketchy ones. If you ask what’s the difference.....you’re on a sketchy one.
Does ANYONE believe Stars is NOT the biggest site out there in terms of market share? Party.....888......they’ve got a piece of the pie but how does anyone not see Stars is the one at the top of the pile?
Other sites may be closing in......but this is a race for second place and it has been for a looooong time now
