Should Las Vegas casinos close...again?

They should've never reopened in the first place. Of course they should close. If they stay open what they're saying is that they don't care about their customers well being. They are their to make money and if you get sick you get sick.

My thoughts exactly. I'm eager to go out to the casinos too, but they were not even safe to open in the first place. I wouldn't dare go there until it is safe; open or closed matters little to me because I'll be at home playing home games or online.

I voted no by mistake, the US is still in the 1st wave stage of this virus, the 2nd wave that WILL come will be much worse.

I'm surprised that so many have voted no, obviously their health and that of others means nothing to them.

I can't decide. I would imagine you should be able to distance and wear masks... If people take proper precautions, you should be fine. But that is the thing - Will people be safe and take those precautions? I don't understand why the poker rooms are closed when the casino is otherwise open though. What is the deal there?! Open the poker tables!!

Yes I do agree they should close until this whole Covid thing settles down. The US numbers went down, then when everything went and opened, the cases rose significantly. Unless they have some kind of bubble like the NHL does, it should close down.

I think that everything needs to be closed for a while. People will still have time to play and have fun, health is not a joke, life is so short. And when we are all dependent on each other, it is necessary to limit our "desire" for the sake of the health of other people. Many may have much weaker immunity. All health and good luck.

Other Casino

Sugarhouse Casino in Philadelphia is opened but you can only play the slots and you can play in house in poker. I only played the slots for this very reason. The slots were not that packed. Playing the house in poker though was cramped. Seats were still right next to each other. I just won a little and left

Public health must be the top priority. gambling is something we enjoy doing but it's not worth risking our health, or worse, the health of others by gathering people inside.

I can't imagine the agonizing decisions casino employees must make. Do they work and get money for food and shelter for their families while putting themselves and their families at risk of getting Covid, or do they stay home with no money coming in. All for the entertainment of others because casinos are not essential businesses.
