Poker rooms in Texas pay a membership fee (a variety of fees are available) instead of rake, since they operate as clubs. So to celebrate the opening of Texas Card House Houston on March 1, 2023, the room is holding a $100k guaranteed tournament for a $300 buy-in beginning Friday, March 3rd. Also in Texas, Legends Poker Room in Houston has upped its food menu promotion for poker players. Players can get a free meal every four hours that they play.

And switching locations to Las Vegas, The Wynn casino is being sued by the family of David Jagolinzer who was left slumped over a blackjack table for 20 minutes after having a heart attack.

While gambling companies and professional sports leagues have joined forces in the last few years, the NFL is expecting to release NFL- themed slot machines around the country this coming fall.

I find it surprising that a man was left without medical attention with so many employees, but also casino visitors...the Wynn is one of the better hotels. I hope this is just an unusual occurrence, and not a sign of how bad service has become post Covid.
