it obviously is here but for me it depends on the context it's put in.
I've had 100's of black friends and we used the word freely without hurt feelings.
the same for women and the "B" word. I have used it many times fondly.

this man should have been removed immediately with as much force as was necessary

Until the venues stop relying on alcohol sales for a quick buck this will continue, it's obvious that he's been drinking too much, alcohol combined with shit for no brains with a touch of self entitlement will always rear it ugly head in this way.

I can call my best friend an asshole for having a royal vs my FH, and he will laugh it off, and I really actually like him and do not really consider him an asshole. But that word is still an insult, even if the context, in this particular case, is somewhat ok because it is between friends that understand this. But the context of this situation does not change the fact that asshole is an insulting term.

Definitely! What you described is what friends do - you wouldn't be calling this fella an asshole unless you were willing to go toe to toe, unfortunately. He doesn't have a sense of humour - at least that I can tell.

This man shouldn't be allowed in ANY poker room in my opinion. I do not care if he was drunk or under the influence of anything since his actions and words come through loud and clear. This may be mild to some people, but I have a feeling we only saw a snippet of his true personality and it's not necessary to give him a second chance. He blew it.

There are always going to be out of control nuts whether they are racist or not, you are not ever going to change that. When you involve alcohol, money or just competition eventually you are going to have an over the top verbal or physical confrontation. When you provide a venue for live play you must ensure you have adequate security to ensure the safety of your staff, patrons and security members. I can look at the video and tell you that the security on duty is not capable of ensuring the safety of the people there. They need to fix the security situation or players should look elsewhere to play.

Hey guys,

it makes me sad to see that there is still a culture in our society that needs to focus on the difference between the people. If a man saves a child from death, he is a hero, unimportant what colour his skin has, or what his sexual orientation is.

Many people are very stubborn in their ideology. But throwing those old thoughts away and being open to new things is the best way to hold pace with our rapidly evolving society.

In my vegas days ,did witnessed few fights but no racial slurs. The funny thing,its just like the movies : chips are flying everywhere and security is unable to stop the looting so funny. I never tried to grab any chips on the floor because cameras are all over the place
