That was kind of an interesting story. I don't think most players would mind the wsop moving to a different location really if that really happened. The part I'm surprised about is that they would build a major league baseball stadium right in the middle of the busy section of Las Vegas. I would think it would more make more sense to build a stadium a little more on the outside of town where there would be more room for traffic and parking and Stadium Etc LOL but I don't really follow baseball so I guess I can't really comment whether it's a good or a bad idea anyway

I would be sorry if the casino will be demolished. Vegas is the gambling capital of the world, and Rio is a kind of symbol. And I don't like baseball.)

Rio isn't what she used to be.

I wouldn't mind seeing something new in that space.

I was back in Vegas for the forst time since 2009. Man did that city change. But I guess that is just the normal life-cycle of Vegas.

But it is kind of sad, that more and more of the themed casino-hotels close. I think that is/was kind of the charm.

Speaking of Vegas changing, the other day I was going through some old boxes and found a Stardust key ring still in its cellophane package, never been opened. it has to be at least 18 years old, because that was the last time I stayed there. Not sure when it was tore down. I haven't been to Vegas since 2001.

On my earliest trip to Vegas saw the Ike and Tina Turner Show at Caesar's Palace in 1971.

You might shop the keychain around, depending on which keychain it is, it could be worth some $$, especially in the package!

GET BACK TO VEGAS! You've been away far too long! :)
