The father of a poker pro, Rich Alati, who accepted a prop bet to remain in darkness and isolation for 30 days, worries his son could be harmed by his self-imposed solitary confinement.

I had no clue he had already started and was almost halfway done. I wonder if he's able to at least listen to music. If he wins though, first thing he should do is hit up the doctor. Gonna be a pain in the butt to try to keep his eyes open the first day he's back out in the brightness.

Staying 30 days in darkness , and especially in a bathroom , is not a good bet imo , and difficult to succeed . I am sure every friend and relative to Rich is worried , not only his father . I hope Rich is in good health and he knows what he is doing .
