Man, I love classic holdem, altough I just started learning it for good. It's harder for beginners these days to start playing, they are confused when they see all this types of pokers.
Imagine a kid who is starting to play, he could be the best holdem player, but he is constantly playing fusion or blast or something like that, pure gamble
How can you read people here? I mean, there are options but it's kinda less brain involved game, or i am stupid, lol, no hard feelings

You definitely have a point there! This is not likely a good game for beginners to play - it could end up confusing them a bit unless you have a decent grasp on the game. I consider myself a beginner, too so this might not be for me either!

How does a "new" game take away from another? lol ,,,,,does checkers take away from chess? or hockey take away from football? Doesn't make sense. New things scare and confuse some people.You have to accept change/progress or the world passes you by,,, :flybye:

I can accept change as most people can, (since in a lot of cases we don't have much choice) I just found the premise of the game a bit confusing from the explanation. I'm sure someone will find it a challenge and fun - not likely for me, though.

Amaya Corporation does its best to turn poker into slots, like in a casino. Poker doesn't make as much money as a casino.
This game is very dispersive.

I tested Fusion with the chips and it is a bit of a gamble

With the 2 first card, you don't have the slightest idea if you will end up with a premium hand in the end.

I went into the table to observe, and honestly after 3 hands it did not interest me and I left.

I saw it, too, and thought it was interesting. Usually I just play Texas Hold'em because I find it hard enough to calculate. Still, I would like to try if they had freerolls with this new game.

Okay, maybe that's a good idea instead of playing. It is questionable, though, if you do not have a hand you can see whether you get the right feel for that game.

It can be playing feel something different, it's that I play for fun but I'm studying and trying to improve my game, I found it a bit confusing, it can get in the way, I'll continue to focus only on holdem but for experienced players it may be a good new game.

I honestly think this gamemode seems bad
It feels so weird. I don't like PLO either, but is doesn't feel odd. This new one does

It looks interesting, although I do not like, I think it will not have much success, like the last modalities PokerStars launched, I prefer the traditional, texas holdem or omaha only.

Lots of ways.
ie. take Spin 'n Goes... they have taken away a good chunk of 'gambling recreational players' from the SNG player pools.... making it much harder for good players to earn a decent winrate. (the edge in Spins is much lower than reg. SNG's).

I think what this game does is it takes away a lot of mathematical certainty. It is a lot harder to calculate your equity; you can play almost any hand before the flop. That makes it a more emotional game to play - you could also say random.

I still like it as a recreational game.

Me by the throat and grabs hold'em poker, even I will not delve into, certainly not sickly rake collected. The PokerStars a couple of years doesn't offer anything worthwhile, only tightening the screws. And focuses only on their profits.

Luck is usually involved with any poker game, but maybe more so in Fusion? I've not tried it, so I can't really comment.

I try and skill not main factor. To win you need luck 70%.

At the end of the article they point out that poker revenues are not keeping up. I wonder if that is because of what they've done to their rewards program, such as it is?
