Great news. Just read the news on the news page. And how to get yourself to play VR?

I watched Spraggys stream today where he demonstrated VR poker - another way for US players to play poker apparently on stars...that aside - the stream was really good, i got a bit of motion sickness ( you will know what i mean when you see it). I think Poker Fusion will be more successful though..a mixture of PLO and STUD...
Virtual Reality is however the way forward and massive business and represents Pokerstars breaking into this market as the first poker platform...watch this space for more information from me as i am heavily into the VR side of things...

I watched the pokerstars twitch stream by Spraggy and it was ok, im not a massive fan but i guess for VR fans out there, its going to be cool, i prefer the new fusion platform - now that is something that will take off and be successful.

Looks like fun if you have all of the right equipment, which I don't. I played on PKR years ago, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly.

The experience seems to be interesting. However, this gets very tiring when you play a long session using the virtual reality glasses. I still prefer the game live with real people at the table.

It seems funny and very entertaining to play with friends, but I do not think I have much success among regular players, I think that recreational players would like more, I do not think it will be very popular, I think it will be the same as the other types of pokerstars released, such as power up, etc.

I was watching some YouTube videos about this earlier. It's a strange idea but I absolutely love it! I think it looks like so much fun and is just an interesting setting for a poker game. I won't be getting it myself, I don't really like playing poker when there is no gambling involved, takes something away from it for me. But if they did ever try to implement this idea and make some real money cash games/SnG's I would order a VR headset just for that.

Is the VR for play money only? I can't imagine four, six, or eight tabling for real money using VR. Would it even be possible to multi-table? It is still cool that they are using the tech though.

This reminds me of the movie: Ready player one, at some point in the future we can enjoy the live poker experience from our house, in my case, I would save mobility tickets and maybe a little more comfort. In the same way it is a very good initiative. I bought a galaxy s7 cell phone and it came with some VR lenses, I hope to finally put them to good use.

Pokerstars are in the United States. You can play on Pokerstars New Jersey, but the play pool is limited to NJ. The real question is will poker be legalized across the USA. With sports betting being legal at a federal level, I'm very surprised that poker wasn't tied to it.

VR technology needs more time and development, IMO it's still not great enough actually.
