PokerStars hosts $1 Million a star studded charity event on May 9

Stars are set to align on May 9 in an effort to help pokerstars raise $1 million for those affected by the coronavirus. Hank Azaria, has partnered with PokerStars to host the online coronavirus relief event.

Fans will be able to watch via Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube as commentators James Hartigan and Lex Veldhuis bring some extra entertainment to the party.

The article states that celebrities are invited (the list is in the article) and to help generate interest, PokerStars is inviting a select number of fans to take part.

It's good that they have decided to support such a charity event . Good to raise some money for this cause , for any cause that helps people affected , people in pain , people in great need , as it happenned with the ACR charity online tournament ,, where many celebrities did actually take part . On the gossip side , i want to see how many important or well kmnown people or poker players will play for Pokerstars

Also , don't want to be a b , but I would expect PokerStars to guarantee more than $1M , if ACR gave $2M , how much should the great poker leader give for such a philanthropic cause , $1M only ?????
