Card counting isn't illegal. They should of just banned him from the BlackJack tables instead of the poker tables.
It's their casino, they can/will do what they please. I think it's part of a program to discourage counting, so it makes sense from their POV.
Casino will do anything to stop a Player to win, but instead ll do everything themselves to cheat players
Right, except for the part about "cheating"....they openly admit they have an edge in every game available, so why play?
I think he got what was coming to him.
Everyone knows that card counting gets you banned from a casino so it should not have come as a surprise.
It is the equivalent of refilling your draft beer glass when the server turns his/her back.
Uh, well, actually it is nothing at all like that. That is stealing, counting cards is skilled
gambling the casinos tend to frown on...two entirely different things.
I just don't understand how there is any other way to play Blackjack....I always keep a running count....it would be dumb not to know where you're at in the deck when deciding your bet size. What? We're not supposed to calculate our equity in the deck and make intelleigent decisions based on that equity? Why play then? Are we supposed to play with the casinos interests in mind or our own interests? I don't get it! Is it also against the rules to lie back and watch somebody feed thousands of dollars into a cold slot machine then slide in when they walk away and max bet the hell out of when it's ripe to pay? Just can't figure that out....How else is there to play Blackjack if one doesn't consider card frequencies and bet size?
Play for fun, and expect to lose....
Are they supposed to just accept people having an edge on them?
They have costs that need to be paid (staff, financing, liscensure, taxes, etc), so they cannot just throw their
hands up and concede to the players.
It's a cat and mouse game.
